Dillion

James Dillion Jr. (Jim or JD)
I am 36 years young and have been racing triathlon since the first Dallas triathlon in 1985 and wanted to do Ironman before I was of age to enter. I am married to a wonderful wife Kristin Joann Dillion and have a wonderful sparkle in my life named Elizabeth - our daughter born on October 19th of 2002. We have twin Himilayan cats named Aubie and Princie. We live in Flower Mound, Texas (75028) in a community called Bridlewood.

I have been involved with all aspects of triathlon. I was a partial ownership of a triathlon store here locally up until 2001 and was trained and worked in a Bike shop as a mechanic when I was in in high school. I have done everything from fitting triathlon bikes to being a race director as well as being a president of a triathlon team with major sponsors and professional athletes.

I spent a short period of time playing professional soccer and when I say short I mean real short (one game). I am a certified scuba diver, certified pilot and resident crazy man (so my wife thinks). Of which I believe to be my greatest accomplishment, I believe it to be that I was the person in charge of the underpants run at Ironman Florida 2000 which I am happy to say we made the Ironman video and made 125 dollars, donated to the Local Food Bank. What a fun day that was running around in our underwear.

As a real job, I am a Staff leasing and Insurance broker for a major insurance provider here locally in Dallas, Texas. My favorite food would have to be cinnamon rolls with chocolate milk, and favorite movie would be Caddy Shack. I listen to all kinds of music from classical to country depending on my mood. My favorite car would of course have to be the Porsche 911 Turbo. My favorite quotes would be:

1)  "The harder you try to impress me the less impressive you become"

2)  "Is it me or is it just me?".

3)  "Your never good for nothing...you can always be used as a bad example."
