Contributions
What will
happen when you voluntarily contribute?
- New features will be added to the
training logs A LOT quicker...(my wife is restricting my playtime funds)
- I will add features that YOU would like
to see.
- Providing that I can keep up with adding
the features you want based on your contributions, there will NEVER be
banners in your logs (or forum) and most definitely no paid
subscriptions.
- Your voluntary contributions
also will help pay for the server space of our awesome home!
- Being that this is the most costliest part of the site
to date, keeping this as a stand-alone entity that does not bring the rest
of the site down is critical! ALL LOG FEATURES will remain free if
we can cover the expenses of the logs through donations.
Users, I think most of you know the
dedication I have to the sport and beginnertriathlete.com. BT is here
to stay! My goal is to keep the logs free and banner-less while being
stat-of-the-art. I want ALL beginners to have the necessary tools -
free - to get training today! This is not easy on my budget as it has
cost me over 100hours of work thus far - but well worth it and what had to
be done to start building the greatest site. BUT I LOVE IT!!!
Your voluntary contribution would be greatly appreciated and would
ensure the success of the training logs and the site in general. I
have a real 40hr/wk job that I take care of my family with. I WILL NOT
use any contributions for my own personal gain or anything unrelated to the
training logs. I will only hold back enough for when the tax-man
cometh.
You can contribute ANY amount...a lot of
littles can go a long way. Contribute monthly, yearly or not at all
(voluntary contributions NOT required)
Think
about:
- How having the logs has helped your
training.
- How the 'whole integration' into the
forum gives you everything EASILY in one place. (You WILL NOT find
this anywhere.)
- How having the logs online in a FUN
atmosphere keeps you motivated.
- THE ONLY PLACE allowing you to
comprehensively keep track of your races.
- The future...you have seen how this
web-site has grown?....IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A YEAR!!!!

- I pocket the cash and skip town.

brewery. (Although that does sound tempting and yummy!)

stock-trading mogul from your supplied funds.
- I will launder the money.

Training Plans
- Will take
advantage of the 'Planned Training'
- Quickly
input BT training plans anywhere in the year into your 'planned' log, then
tweak according to your specifics.
- We will
continually offer specialized plans to download, more advanced plans too.
Online
Coaching
- Although
there may be a fee to interface with certified coaches to offer a higher
level of training through your log, we definitely would like to set up the
infrastructure to the logs/forum to accomplish this.
- Although
nothing is concrete, here are some ideas:

the coaches charge that is at a discounted rate for BT members,

special plans offered by certified coaching agencies and have the options
for 'live' chats and unlimited email support, etc.
