"Overall, when these wear out, I will buy another Speedplay product. I might choose the stainless steel version for more durability, but for the price, I can't complain. Highly adjustable, low profile for powering through turns, and dependability of use make them great. Carry the pedal covers with you, and use the teflon grease to keep the cleats lubed and you'll be happy. "D.Z.

Screw right into pedals. Cleats were harder to get onto the shoes. Need to pay attention to threading properly or you will cross-thread the screws which would be a pain. They are also adjustable, which makes getting them set properly less than easy.

The cleats can get gunked up REALLY easy and when they do, they are a PITA to get cleaned out.

(4)

Showing signs of wear on the pedals themselves, and the cleats wearout easy. I would recommend buying the cleat covers for walking around.

(5)

Adjustability makes fitting them properly a cinch. Make sure your shoes support the cleat, though, as the whole patterns are unique to Speedplay pedals.

I have ridden a number of 1/2 centuries, and full metric and standard centuries without hot-spots or foot pains.

There is nothing to adjust on the pedals, but the cleats are quite adjustable.

Through heavy use, and sometimes carelessness (like not making sure my cleats were clean), I have managed to start to wear out the pedals and cleat bottoms. Properly cared for, they might be fine, but have noticed wear after less than a year.

Pedals are easy to install, cleats somewhat difficult to attach, but nicely adjustable make these pedals a good value. Considering I paid around $120 for them, I really can't complain. A problem arises when you need new cleats which are expensive. BUY THE COVERS and use them.

(3)

They don't look bad or good. Truth be told, they are so small (pedals and cleats) that you can't see them.

Haven't needed to use it.

The only thing that keeps me from giving these pedals a 5 in this category is the easy of which the cleats get gunked up, and the work required to clean them out when they do. Otherwise, they perform fantastically - the free float is everything that I thought they would be, and they are easy to get out of and into.

Free float, free float free float.

Once the cleats get dirty, it is hard to clean them.
