"I purchased these in the spring of 2012 when I was going through a remarkable shoe buying streak. I was recently introduced to the Kinvara 2. Although I had being running in NB Minimus trail the Kinvaras were my first leap into a lower drop lighter road shoe. I loved them. I bought another pair of them and saw these feather things and the shoe guy said they were like the kinvara just a bit lighter.

I am glad I got them, a nice introduction to a light shoe. Despite the upper falling apart they run as smooth as the day I got them, so I guess that is something. The drop height does bother me from time to time though, I probably would not purchase them again for that reason.

The durability bites. I have run 36 hours or about 360 km in them and the upper is really hurting. The construction is very minimial, I think to keep the weight down, so the upper is very fragil. The sole seems solid though and non the worse for wear.

They are super light though. My feet feel so light and quick in them. Very good for tempo and interval work. If I am running fast in them I find I don't mind the drop, not sure what is with that.

They are nothing like the kinvara. They have a 11 mm drop, which to me feels like much more than the kinvara which has a 4 mm drop. So yeah. Bit of a shock there. Felt like my heel was hitting the ground too much, obviously.
