"Despite it's short comings regarding the back ground of these two champions, the vast majority of the book was entertaining and easy to get lost in the race painted beautifully by the author. I ran 13 miles without thinking about it as I could see myself at Iron War while listening via audible book version. "Nm True

Some parts were a little silly and a bit of a stretch, but it was mostly a great read

It is an inspiring book, comparing train hard v. train smart philosophies regarding Ironman

Author hinted that Mark Allen cheated in several ways to finally beat Scott, but only eluded to it. Either stand by the statement, or leave it out. Another weakness, the silly conclusions drawn by the author that both men had a terrible father and this is why they became champions is a bit of an eye roller when you see how much their fathers were a part of their lives.
