"Brooks delved into the minimalist market, without going minimal. The Pure Project line provides cushion, flexibility, lower drop and light weight- the core elements of the minimal market, while still offering durability and protection. It has proven to be a great combination. Loved these shoes. Bought another pair."morey000

Pretty impressed at how well these held up, given that they are positioned as a lighter weight shoe. Not a thread out of place after 600 miles of running. The upper, while dirty, is near perfect.

I have a narrow, low volume foot, and I like a snug feel to my running shoes. These are close. Could be snugger for me, but I wouldn't call them high volume. I did need to size up a half size, as the toe box was a tad narrow.

Big points for the amount of cushion on these shoes, while retaining flexibility and ground feel.

These are lighter weight shoes, intended to go 250-300 miles. I've had minimal sole wear and the uppers are still quite solid after 600 miles. The support has completely broken down tho'.

same price as every other shoe, but I pumped up the rating to a 4 because of how long they lasted for me

The color choices are a little strange. Not the best looking shoe out there... but my dog doesn't really care. He gets excited when I put them on, regardless.

Lotsa' cushion for their weight. I PRed a HM and a Marathon with these.

Cushion, flexibility, weight and surprise: long lasting (at least for me). Oh, and I like the Burrito wrap tongue. Shame they removed it in the next version (version 4) of the shoe.

without a stiffer support structure in the shoe, such as a hard plastic or firmer mid-sole, the 'support' elements broke down fairly quickly. So, as the supportive of the Pure Project line, they're not all that supportive
