Largest start so far. All males 39 and under started together. Picked good line to first turn, didn't get caught up in the mass of bodies at the bouy.

Overall not too bad, played around with my gears a lot in order to keep cadence steady. Glad I scouted out the course prior to race.
What would you do differently?:

Took feet out of shoes too soon on return, need to find landmark 1/4 mile from T2.

Felt slow! Only got passed by a few and passed the guy I beat a half mile from the finish line.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more on the bike, but felt nauseous near end of ride.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Started to feel sick to my stomach the last 3 miles of the bike ride, skipped my GU at the 45 minute mark. Need to eat better the day before.

Good race although I probably will not do it again.

Course: Out and back on a narrow, beat up road. Wind was with on the way out, against on the way back. Turn around was WAY TOO TIGHT! Glad I unclipped because I hit the sand and had to put a foot down.
