This is a practice race. No taper, specific goals: 1) Have a good swim 2) Set myself up to run well off the bike.

For me...this was a good run. At a little less than 1 mile left, I got passed by two guys in my A/G going pretty fast. I attemped to pick it up, but they soon gapped me by about 60-70yds. Had I known this was for 2nd/3rd in A/G, I would have found a way to stay with them. I pulled them in toward the finish, but they finished 8 sec. in front of me.
What would you do differently?:

Reel the two guys that passed me back in or stay with them in the first place.
