Event comments:

Great race, dreadful performance, as I expected. Trained 3 out of 18 days befroe and spent 5 in the hospital. I knew my stamina would be low, but didn't expect crazy heart rate. Had to shut it down on the run when i saw Cardenas was smoking my be 3 or 4 minutes at that point. I chalk it up as a mediocre training session at best.
Next year i do it in under 1:09. 3rd place 185 Clydesdale. One of last races at this weight as I barely am over 185. 172 here I come.
