Swim
Comments: I liked starting in the first wave. Since swiming is not my strongest area, I hung out in the back and started a few seconds after the horn blew. It was smooth swimming for the whole 400 yards. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: transistion was a lot more crowded than when I left to start event. I had trouble locating my bike. Get a good landmark for were bike is! Bike
Comments: hard and fast as I could go Transition 2
Run
Comments: I really liked starting in the first wave. I had people to compet with and was passed by a lot rather than passing everyone. It pushed me to go harder! I almost caught up to my 15 year old daughter at the finish line! Post race
Warm down: fruit and bear naked granola with yogurt and blueberries, walked Event comments: This was my very first triathalon a few years back. I've gone on to do many more, but I am fond of this race. It is exciting to have so many first timers! It is a fun, easy race. A great place to start and a great race to have a fun expirience and a good workout Last updated: 2009-08-11 12:00 AM
