TERRIBLE. First race and I panicked a bit. Being used to the pool the kicking and waves/splashes caused me to inhale water and I think it scarred me for the rest of the swim. Also, not used to swimming in my wetsuit.
What would you do differently?:

Practice open water swimming with my wetsuit. SWIM STRAIGHT!!!

Did not really "race" the course. Took my time and forgot i was racing......fell into a fun ride mode.
