Comments:

Even before the race started, I knew this was going to be better than yesterday. Everything was so much less crowded and calmer. It made a big difference. I wore my headphones for a lot of the race listening to music. I turned off the music while running through the parks and going through water stops. These always take a lot more concentration with twists and turns and runners moving unpredictably. In addition to being a lot less crowded, I also thought this was a better course than the half, going through more parks and even a little less flat.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. I ran this better than I expected.
Post race
Warm down:

Walking to the bus and crying.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not doing a half marathon the day before.

About 5 miles into the race, my heart rate strap wasn't working correctly. It kept jumping all over the place. So I had to go by feel and pace for the rest of the race. http://connect.garmin.com/splits/140293311
