Comments:

Good grief. Was trying for 45m. I know my swim sux and not looking for miracles. Thought this would go better.
What would you do differently?:

Got some work to do. understatement of the year!

Comments:

Not much to say here. little demoralized by swim. just trying to be steady and not forget anything.
What would you do differently?:

Comments:

Got on and up to speed. Felt good. Tried to stay super easy until the final run into transition. Passed quite a few but the half people were really spread out.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. pretty happy with this ride

Comments:

Shoe fell off pedal when I stepped off. Had to stop to pick it up,grrr
What would you do differently?:

Pay attention when stepping off pedal. Just lost concentration for a sec.
Run
  • 2h 28m 18s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 11m 19s  min/mile
Comments:

Poor run. Mental focus was just not there. Fell into trap of walking with people around me. I felt ok most of the time and actually caught and passed people all of the time which is hard to believe.
What would you do differently?:

HTFU
Post race
Warm down:

Tried to get out of the rain. Didn't realize how cold I was until after. brrr

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Swim and general fitness. It's my first year of tri. Only my second tri ever. I have one more oly before IMAZ and I feel pretty good. The races get easier and faster every time. Keep doing the work!!

Event comments:

Only complaints I have are: Traffic, I had 2 really close calls on the course. Some of the drivers seemed really PO'd at the racers and didn't give an inch of road.
Security, I know its a small race but no security in transition is no bueno in my opinion. Anyone could've walked out bikes with no questions asked. Other than those two perfect race.
