I broke my rear mount water bottle holder, so that slowed me down while I tried to fix it. It was a lost cause.

I rode pretty well. I went through one bad patch for about 20 miles where I didn't feel great, but overall I was pleased. I paced myself comfortably.
What would you do differently?:

I had to stop to pee twice because I couldn't go with no real downhill sections. I would learn how to pee while pedaling.

I paced myself well and made sure to hold myself back early. I faded a little on the second loop, but it was only about 10 minutes slower than my first. Overall I was really pleased with that.
What would you do differently?:

I might have been able to push the pace a little more, but I didn't want to risk a melt down so I just kept it comfortable.

Great race. Everything was organized and well run. The course is flat, but not easy. If you think it's easy then you aren't pushing yourself hard enough.

Course: It is a single loop course. You ride along the coast for a bit before turning inland. Once you get in a ways you basically do a large square with a couple of out and back sections. Then you head back to the coast. The course is flat and fast with just a couple small rolling hills on the back half.
