Camped with Sheila at the lake. Ate oatmeal and found our way to the race course in time to set-up. Would have liked to arrive earlier.

Calculated pace seems fast, I think the stated distance is long. Had to take some early breaststroke breaks, but got into a rythm and got comfortable down the stretch.

Wow I suffered here. Had to walk most of the uphills. Legs were dead after pushing too hard on the bike.

Train more for the run! Especially on hills.

Fun race, good challenging short course. Lake is not the most beautiful, but the course was enjoyable for spectators.
