  • Comments: I may actually not race another of this company's race's. I KNOW they are bad at marking courses and having enough volunteers at each of their races, and I did this one anyway because of proximity to home and where it fell in my training/racing schedule.

  • Comments: I wish the transition area would have been better organized. Anyone who wanted to walk in just walked in. I don't like that!

  • Comments: I hate to be critical of NCN but I have to. 1. no division markings. I mentioned this to Rick at the body marking station telling him "Hey, how will I know who to pass" He said "good point" and started to call back the few that had been marked already. I was like the 4th one to get marked. He then changed his mind. Ummm...was this his 1st race? 2. In complete timing. How is it t2 and run times combined? It is more than likely the timing companies fault, but wtf? 3. Cost. 65 bucks for a sprint is a little pricey for this area and the quality of the race. HFPs sprints are about 10 bucks cheaper. Overall a nice race and it was fun. I'll do it again so its so damn close to my house.

  • Comments: I would definitely do this race again because it was a fast, flat course. The folks putting it on did an OK job; nothing really stellar to report but nothing really awful either. Not having a measuring stick of comparison, I would say the event was run fine.

  • Comments: This was an exceptionally run race. There were plenty of aid stations, the volunteers were fantastic, there was even a guy hosing off our feet as we left the sand. There was an aid station on the ride that you passed on each loop. It was such a great race that I felt the need to write a nice email to the race director Debbie Gomberg.

  • Comments: awesome race. Had fun with my lil bro.. saw him on the bike ride...he did a great great job! We both improved and are now officially freaked out about the olympic distance tri in September..
