• Comments: A bit of a bare bones race but seeing as it's probably the cheapest oly distance race in so-cal I don't mind, they had the important stuff and it was a fun atmosphere and a great day. I had a blast! This was my first oly distance race and I LOVE it. This is my distance, it's perfect (well, the swim could be shorter but oh well). I came within 35 seconds of my goal time so I am very happy with that. Only 4 weeks to Wildflower now, this race gave me some good confidence going into that. I'm still concerened about the distance and hills but I think I will be ok. Really need to get my swimming figured out also!

• Comments: Great race for being so low key and relatively inexpensive. Very good for a first time international/olympic distance(easy swim).

• Comments: Awesome event. Though not the glitz and glamor of a larger event, this was an incredibly well run, smaller event. Definitely enjoyed every minute and was actually sad for a few moments there when I saw the end. Will be back next year for sure.
