  • Comments: Good race, nothing to really complain about. It's a destination/vacation race, if you're going to run in any Disney event you must understand that you're paying a slight premium for all the extra Disney stuff.

  • Comments: This is a great, fun race and I'd not hesitate to do it again. That being said it's not a "race" as much as an event, I wouldn't come here looking for a PR. I was really looking forward to a post-race massage since I was running the marathon the next day, I was a little disappointed that they were charging $ for the massage tent. Crowd and volunteer support is excellent and I felt that Disney does a great job accommodating the huge race field. It's not a cheap race, but once you see how much logistics goes into it I can understand the entry fee.

  • Comments: I've always enjoyed Disney races, and even though my own training wasn't as good as I would have liked, they still put on a good show. My only complaint this year was that they had reduced the number of cast members at the character photo spots. This caused longer lines that didn't move nearly as fast as they used to.

  • Comments: The race is very well organized but you have to wait forever to start the race and then once it starts you have to wait for your chance to go. How they broke up the corrals is beyond me! The time I entered was faster than what Mandy entered and she was a corral ahead of me. I would do it again but it was more of a bucket list item.

  • Comments: This was a fun race, with the parks and people in costumes and all, but I think they allow too many participants. The course is a little crowded and the logistics of getting to the race site on time basically force you to get up in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was a blast though!

  • Comments: Great 1/2 marathon even if it was in the dark! I think it was better this way b/c we got to run through the Magic Kingdom when it was all lit up!

  • Comments: This race was incredibly well organized. The one complaint I have is the long walk from the starting area to the corrals. Plenty of water and first aid stations. The one food/cliffshot station had run out of food by the time we slowpokes passed, so if you're going to be very slow you need to bring your own nutrition.

  • Comments: I give this race a 5. There was a bit of traffic on the way to the Epcot, but hopefully everyone behind us got there on time. Not too much instruction on getting from the sweat bag drop off to the corrals, but I just followed the crowd. Being in Corral A, I didn't have to wait at all for photo opps with the characters. I rarely had to wait more than a minute since most folks were flying by. I would definitely do this race in the future! Flat and fast!

  • Comments: RunDisney will absolutely spoil you for running anywhere else. It's pricey, but the entire experience is top notch, beginning to end. Without magic pixie dust and the whole atmosphere, I may have gotten on the bus at mile 9. It's a great venue for anyone doing their first of the 1/2 or full distance, but still never ever ever ever fail to respect the distance.

  • Comments: It's a good race, especially if you want to get a PR since it's such a flat course. But submit a good time so you can be in corral A, otherwise you are stuck in the pack trying to get around a ton of people for basically the entire race. Good race just "for fun", esp if you're not going for time and want to take photos at all the mile markers. Disney definitely has the best medals--this year was the 15-year anniversary of Donald so that medal was pretty cool!

  • Comments: This was a VERY crowded race. Being so early in the morning, much of it was in the dark. All the on-course entertainment was Disney (which is not my taste) but to be expected. Some of it was really annoying. Considering it was Disney, the course was kind of boring too. You went through Magic Kingdom, and then a little of Epcot at the end. But otherwise you were just on boring roads.

  • Comments: Pretty cool race, pretty much overshadowed since we were more worried about the marathon the following day. Super flat course, would be easy to PR if not for all the Disney stuff. There is just so much to see on the course it would be tough to run fast the whole time.

  • Comments: I would absolutely do this race again! I've done many races "AT" Disney that were put on by non-Disney race directors, but this was the first race I've done that was put on "BY" Disney. There is a difference! Heed the race instructions; arrive at the times that they specify to arrive and you will be absolutely golden! I couldn't believe how easy it was to get in and get out. I'll be back next year... with friends!

  • Comments: Great race. It's very crowded at that beginning and would be tough to try to start at a faster than 9min/mi pace in the corral I was in (B), but this didn't matter to me as I wasn't going for speed here. Fun atmosphere overall and lots of support.
