  • Comments: Well run race. More people tend to underestimate their swim time/overestimate their swim capability in this race than some others. But, overall, I enjoy the race and will do it again.

  • Comments: FS did another really good job with this race. The venue is a little small and we were crammed into a smaller transition area.

  • Comments: This race is for such a good cause. I will definitely keep doing it. Last year I was in a bad car accident a week before and wasn't able to compete. I was so happy that I was able to this year.

  • Comments: The one negative for me was the free food afterwards was a Taco Bell truck. I'm trying not to appear unappreciative here, but come'on TACO BELL - really! There were snacks such as bananas, peanut butter, etc but you could literally smell the grease in the air from the TB truck.

  • Comments: Rebecca and Finish Strong are awesome. I love the Finish Strong races!!! Rebecca has done a great job with this race. I've done it all 4 years, and it's a good race that raises a lot of money for the SmileTrain. Great race, great charity!

  • Comments: I like this race. I have done it for the three years it's been around. It has a nice feel to it. Rebecca has grown it, and done an awesome job. Sometimes races grow too fast too quick...this is an exception. My hat off to Rebecca and her "staff". I plan to return to this one as long as I can for sentimental reasons... not to mention it is a great charity to support.

  • Comments: I finished better than expected, my goal for my first race was 1:30 and I beat it by 17 min. Everyone there was very supportive and encouraging. It was a great experience for my first time out.

  • Comments: This is a nice race, Finish Strong is to be commended once again for pulling off another well organized event, and I can not say enough good things about Rebecca Warriner, the founder and producer of the race. She is an amazing lady and this event raises a lot of money for a good cause. This was my first ever event just one year ago in it's inagural year and I plan on making it an annual event. Just as I have improve vastly over last year, so has this event. The only clitch was that because they forgot to enter my gender, maybe I look gender neutral, my times did not post until the day after the race so I got to watch someone else accept my medal on the podium, but there are more races to come, more hills to climb, and more opportunites to place and it is always nice to see others rewarded for their efforts.

  • Comments: The only reason I rated the course as too hard was the run. Too many blessed hills.

  • Comments: This was the 2nd year for the SmileTrain tri. I was concerned that the race grew quite a bit compared to last year, but they handled the numbers well. I also think the run change was good, it was really more of a challenge. I think this year (even though it was much larger) was much better than last year. My hats off to Rebecca, she has done an awesome job. And the race raised $25k for the SmileTrain charity....sweet!

  • Comments: What a great cause. Raised over 20k to help kids! FS Series folks did a great job! I told them my race time was not showing up well after other psotings and they were right on it. They got it us shortly afterwards. My only hope is that my family would have ben there but it was so early and 1 hour drive they just could not make it.

  • Comments: Well, consider this is only my second event. Wilmington had a better after race spread for the participants. But this was adequate. It takes me a few minutes anyway before I want to eat anything. For this event there were bananas, apples and oranges, bagels and peanut butter, and drinks.

  • Comments: I can't really rate this race - it was my first. I had a good time. There really were not any post race activities. There were bagels and fruit + water for after the race. Oh, and on the "Overall Contestants" section I just put in the women. I didn't see anywhere on the reslts where the women and men were combined. The total racing were 280.
