  • Comments: This was a nice solidly run event. Team in Training support was extremely well run. The TRI was on time and I believe the only delay that they had was 1 minute for the Pro Women so they men could complete their turn without conflict. This was the 12th year of the event and I thought that they did an outstanding job. There were tons of volunteers and they seemed to be very well organized. As this is my first TRI I don't have anything to compare it to. As far as the course what a location! Pacific Grove is one of the nicest places on the earth and it translates to a great TRI! The water is 61 degrees and filled with kelp--which I didn't mind. The bike course is small rolling hills (almost completely flat). The run is flat--except for one hill. I would love to come back again. I would like to thank my BeginnerTriathelete.com buddies. They have left me numerous comments that have picked me up when I'm down.   • Comments: One two aid stations on run, not bad but all in the first mile of each loop, need to spread them out. I like the have harder course to thin out the crowds. I tend to compete better with hills because of my strength on the bike.

  • Comments: no water on the bike course kinda stunk. Overall it was a great race that was very organized and well run.
