Comments: Weather was a factor when it usually isn't. It was 25F with 30 mph winds. Snow on the ground. It did not have an overall impact on my race, but it was cooooold.

Comments: As the only real half-marathon between November and April, the Rock Canyon Half-Marathon can't be beat. The course today was a little treacherous but that's what you get for a race like this in December. I had a really good run today, and I was pleased with how everything went. I don't know if I'll run it every year, but I'm glad I did this morning.

Comments: This is a very fun race on a nice course. The word has finally got out and this was the first time they've closed registration early. The low cost of this race - $25 - includes a very nice sweatshirt.

Comments: This is a real nice low budget race. It only cost $25 and that included a nice sweatshirt with no advertiser info. Much of the course is on a trail so there isn't much spectator support, which is fine with me. Weather can be a factor with a December race. Three years ago it snowed and the trail was difficult to run on.
