Comments: The down side to this race was the lack of water stations. Doing the half marathon this wasn't a huge issue, but doing a full marathon I imagine this would make it very difficult.

Comments: This was a good race and I'd do it again next year, if we're in the area. This was actually a family vacation and we stumbled upon this race last minute, didn't know it was even going on when we booked our trip. There were "enough" drink stations, but a couple more, evenly spaced would have been nicer. With this many you need to take advantage of them when available and skipping one means going almost 4 miles without a drink. Having them spaced almost every mile is nice because I feel better about skipping one here and there if I don't want to slow down. True to their name, they had some sweet Country/Bluegrass/Honky Tonk live music at the finish line. Good times!

Comments: For those looking for a challenge or love hills this is the race for you. Being the first time they have some bugs to work out like the turn around where the full marathoners seperate was a bit of a cluster. Also unless I missed it there wasn't any post race to speak of, Just bananas and plain bagles for grub. May have left too soon but I had to get home to make sure my son didn't burn the place down. The swag bags were good with long sleeve shirt, winter hat and gloves and a nice finishers medal. But the shirt is huge.
