  • Comments: Great put together race. I think I'll add this to my schedule from now on. Tons of volunteers, really great on the bike course, easy registration and check it, great location in terms of parking and ease of getting in and out. Good transition set up. just a well done race all around. Very happy I did this one.

  • Comments: I love this race - it's my hometown race and I want it to be fun. And it didn't disappoint, even though I wasn't the same racer I was last year. I did beat my time from the first year (just barely) so that was nice. I was pleased to have a decent bike performance and to see the improvement in my transitions make up for some of my lack of swimming and running ability. I had fun and that's what it was about - and was not embarassed in my performance.

  • Comments: Overall, this was a good race. So glad the weather was nice for this one. There could have been more volunteers on the bike course though. There were none at a few intersection with lights and wasnt sure what the cars were going to do when their light turned green. I also saw a few people shoot by one of the intersections. Luckily, I remembered the course so I knew were the turn was. I heard this happened to several other people as well.

  • Comments: Very happy with the first overall win in the first tri of the year. I really hope I'll be carry the momentum over to Tremblant 70.3 in two weeks. I'll probably have to make the podium in my AG to get to Vegas.

  • Comments: Excellent race; well-run, well-organized, plenty of volunteers, logical set-up, easy access. Beyond closing the roads, I can't imagine what they could have done better.

  • Comments: This is my best race effort to date. I loved this race. I felt great the whole way through, and felt like I truly gave it my all. I was psyched that the results showed that, I truly was not expecting them to. But when I crossed the finish line, for the first time ever, I felt I had done all that I could - absolutely no regrets. It was an awesome feeling. I've come a long way.

  • Comments: Two years in a row, the timing was not the best. Participants had to wear a huge (I mean huge) timing chip and I saw a lot falling off becuase the straps were garbage. Better luck next year.

  • Comments: The police were great at the intersections and the rough parts. The participants were definately the priority. I had to rate the race average because it was my first triathlon. I really don't know how it stacks up to other races. :) I'd like to work on my biking and running for the next race.

  • Comments: Good Race. And really glad rain and lightning stayed away. My goal was to break 1:17 which I did (1:15:55). Last year I did 1:24 so big improvement. I dont know why they do 10 year AG's though. I would have been 1st in my AG if it was M45-49. Instead I was 6th. Some really fast people at this race this year. Lines for food were also too long so didn't get to try any of the food. Was getting cold so decided to leave before the awards.

  • Comments: A great day for Northeast Multisport, with somewhere around 25-30 racers in the field, and close to half of us ended up with hardware of some sort. This was a fun race to do, and I'm looking to carry my momentum into next weekend's HIM where I'm also hoping to win my AG.

  • Comments: Great volunteers and well organized. Cant wait to do this one again next year. My only complaint was the timing chips. We had to wear 3 and I think there were some timing issues. ex. I dont think both of Transitions were 1:00 min.

  • Comments: I have to keep reminding myself this is officially my first triathlon. I've been doing lots of prep and I think seeing the 120th place overall in the swim hurt my feelings. But overall, I am very happy with the time of 1:32:32 - I had what I considered to be a reach goal of 1:30, so I got darned close to that. And I am happy with top 10 in my age group. Granted - I think I was lucky to be competing in the field I was competing in and do not expect the same top 10 at the larger races. So I'm going to try and take it as a confidence boost, good first race, and move on. I also need to learn how to warm up properly before a race. I'm so worked up about getting my stuff all organized and then I don't want to mess it all up by using my stuff to warm up. And at this race, I wasn't allowed to warm up swimming - which I think is where I need it most. I really need to learn how to swim fast from the start - not 800 yards in.

  • Comments: I'm a little biased as an organizer of the race, but I don't think things could have gone much better. I had a lot of fun at the race and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately my Dad has a pulled groin so he wasn't able to race, but he volunteered and we spent a good amount of time together.
