  • Comments: All in all a solid day. I didn't win as I plan but I did offered the best race I had in that day and most importantly, I never gave in to my negative thoughts. I kept on fighting and focusing on the next mile. This kept me in the game and brought me a 70.3 Tman PR

  • Comments: I really had no business doing as well as I did, yet I easily could've done better with more effort. I love this race, and having a place one mile from transition was a huge bonus. It was great getting to walk down to watch the Sprint race on Saturday morning. I was pretty tired the rest of the day, and a little stiff on Monday, but by Tuesday I basically felt fine. I guess I'll do Timberman again next year.

  • Comments: Overall I'm glad I did this race. I would like to do another 70.3, perhaps in a more interesting locale such as Quebec or Miami.

  • Comments: What a fantastic venue, course, group of volunteers, spectators and competitors, and day. This was my first HIM, but won't be my last, nor will it be the last time I do THIS race - just terrific. I was fortunate enough to race almost exactly the race I wanted, and I'm also super happy with the results. Very family friendly vibe, and the beach location is nice, as were the amenities. Next time I'll book a place earlier and CLOSER to the event - which will help with the logistics, but a very well organized and executed race/event. This one gets a top notch rating, for sure.

  • Comments: WTC knows how to run a race. On time, a million volunteers, highly organized - the whole thing was great. But, the best part was the Make a Wish team. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH -- if you are going to do Timberman in the future, make the effort to be a fundraiser and race for the Make a Wish team. I have no affiliation with them whatsoever, and decided to raise money since I admire what they do. In return, you will receive support and appreciation unllike anything you can imagine, and probably have the best race weekend you could imagine. I know I did.

  • Comments: For my first 70.3 I am happy. My real goal was to finsih. The secondary goal was to be under 7 hours. I hit both. Next year will be much faster

  • Comments: Not quite the results I was looking for but a huge improvement over the last 70.3. Also found a lot to take away from the race on the mental side. Starting to figure out what it takes to race a competitive 70.3.
