  • Comments: 5th time at this race, and every year it gets better. Ken, Angie, and Kate are some of the hardest working and understanding Race Directors around. I'm already looking forward to my email invitation to next year's race.

  • Comments: This race is no longer a well kept secret, the word is out and it sells out fast. If you are looking for a late season destination race, this race should be on your radar.

  • Comments: Every aspect of the race was fantastic and I will do it again. The swag bags for this event were "virtual" translation, coupons. Dumbest thing ever. I would recommend not bothering with a "virtual swag bag" again. Swag bags are great for samples of stuff that I now use because I got a sample "Biofreeze and Cliff Shots" are two offhand examples. Bottom line: I look forward to this event next year!

  • Comments: This was the 3rd year of this race and each year it has gotten better. The RD is open to suggestions and actually listens to his customers. The changes this year made the course better for both the racers and the spectators. Even though this is "just" a sprint tri, this has become an annual destination race for me and the family.

  • Comments: Even though this was my first triathlon, I thought it was great. Kudos all around to those that put it on. My only suggestion to make it betteris for a louder megaphone...some of the announcement were hard to hear, otherwise perfect. I would sign up for this event now for next year if I could.

  • Comments: Made changes this year that really did not work. Hope they will listen to participant feedback to continue to make this a great race. The venue is fantastic.

  • Comments: Great venue, well-marked course, enthusiastic and helpful volunteers. Extremely scenic, enjoyable and relaxing location. Wave starts were broken-down unevenly and planned poorly--the fastest groups started last and ended up over-taking the others in the swim and bike creating unsafe congestion (water and cycling). The most violent swim I've done this year (4 other events) due to crowding and slower swimmers in earlier groups.

  • Comments: Great location for a tri. As a first year race there are some kinks to work out but that is to be expected. Could have used better post race food but oh well. Very family friendly race. Kids race on Saturday morning, then bounce houses and an art project tent during the post race festivities.
