  • Comments: Another hot one, but not as bad as it could have been. My age group was really competitive today. My time this year would have gotten me first in my age group last year. All in all, I am happy (I was expecting a 1:17), but I know there is room to improve.

  • Comments: Race was VERY organized and ran like a swiss clock. Great job to Jim, Rane and your teriffic group of volunteers. Volunteers were enthusiastic and encouraging. The post race raffel and awards were great. The posting of the times was very efficient and quick. I have done two races and can't wait for the October race. My son did the Youth race and he had a blast. Although he didn't have an adult to ride with him on the bike leg I was very happy to see the course was coned off to vehciles. He said he felt very comfortable on the course the way it was set up.

  • Comments: They didn't have the massage tables for this race like the last one! It was nice to have a little easier competition than the March race. I finished solid MOP overall.

  • Comments: Given the heat, these folks really keep everything on time and maximize efficiency to get people on the course early before the heat really turns on. I did a race in PHX earlier this year, and those organizers could have really learned a lot from this race (we started WAY later than necessary). Great staff, great volunteers, and lots of fun for a sprint race in Tucson. It's nice to not have to travel so far once in awhile for a race.
