  • Comments: The location and course for this race were great and it was unfortunate that the weather was so cold that the swim had to be cancelled. What really let the organisation side down from my point of view were: 1. Many of us had to queue for 3-4 hours outside in the cold wind waiting for a medical exam before being able to register. This is required in some countries if you are not a member of a triathlon team and therefore do not have a licence to race. 2. The race organisers had not recognised the need for Adequate toilet facilities on registration day. Although the weather conditions were not ideal, I enjoyed the race and would go back. Next time I will make sure I have my race licence in advance of registration.
