  • Comments: This is the 3rd largest running race in the US. It is very well done and is a 10k block party.

  • Comments: Its a great race and one I plan to do often. I learned from last year that the water/aid stations are a train wreck waiting to happen and I took a water bottle with me to avoid those. I also avoided trying the bacon after last year as well. There were over 48,000 people registered and its safe to say you won't be alone no matter what your pace. The finish line is a bottleneck as well but all in all a great event!

  • Comments: This was my first time at this race and I'll definitely be back next year. It was amazing to see all the people out supporting the runners or giving them a beer or two. At the suggestion of a friend who ran the race before, I tried the bacon and will NOT do that again. It was a great time.

  • Comments: First time doing this race, and I was very impressed. I thought it lived up to all of its hype. Course was interesting, lots of turns so the miles went by quick. Temps this year were absolutely perfect, cool and overcast with occasional rain drops. Plenty of liquids at the hydration stations and the crowds along the course were fun.

  • Comments: This race is always one of my favorites. There are small things I'd improve--like the set up of the new start line area (and the attitude of two volunteers who were preventing people from getting to their wave for no apparent reason), but it's really an awesome race. I started running it 10 years ago and am looking forward to another 10 years, hopefully with a few more PRs in the future.

  • Comments: This race three years ago changed my entire perspective on running from something I did as a necessity to stay in shape, into something I love doing. The race from the start to the finish in Folsom Field is a blast! I had so much fun.

  • Comments: If this were higher on the priority list, I think I would have been more rested and the intense desire to put myself in a place to dig and PR by much more. Beyond that I'm ok with the result. I'm getting faster and I know that when the race is important I will be ready to push deep!
