  • Comments: Not the best version of this race (my 3rd year to do this one). Still, well organized. A few minutes late getting started. Excellent volunteer and police support. I made sure to say thank you or give a friendly nod as I passed each of them. Plenty of aid stations. New bike course = FAIL. Too much cornering, turning, and the additional 1/2 loop created some confusion and dangerous cross-traffic between 1st and 2nd loopers. On-site results were a pain and not updated. Results were listed on a scrolling computer monitor...tough to see and did not have my results listed even after about 45 minutes from my finish. Race shirts this year appeared to be of cheaper quality compared to the Brooks shirts from the past two years.

  • Comments: Very well organized, staffed. There was the little misdirection on the swim and I did hear a few people say the volunteers on the bike route at the start of lap 2 were confused on which way to send bikers.
