Comments: I'm glad I chose this as my first triathlon. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I cannot wait until my next race. I was a little shocked that I finished in the top 20 of my age group. What a great confidence booster!! The event was well-organized, and the volunteers were friendly and well-informed. The course was well-marked and exactly as described on the organizer's website. Best part about it was the support from my hubby and kiddos!

Comments: I did the Tinsel Tri as my first tri 3 years ago, so it was cool to finally come back and see my progress. Also, I've been having motivation issues the last few weeks, and a fun race was just what I needed.

Comments: A lot of youngsters out on this course, some doing the tri and others doing just the 5k. One girl doing the 5k was only in 1st grade. The youngest triathlete was 7. There was a father and son pair dressed up as the Incredibles, as well as the obligatory Santa, Mrs. Claus, and all their reindeer.
