  • Comments: I was exactly 2 minutes faster this year than last year. I was faster in the swim and the bike (3+ mins). I came in 3rd in Clydes. So it was a good day. The event is pretty good. Today, Macca was racing. He is a very friendly person and signed autographs and took photos before and after the race. THANK YOU to ALL the VOLUNTEERS! The only real complaint is the awards ceremony takes forever. There are 3 more races...May, June, and November.

  • Comments: good event as always. The roads around the park at the end loops are really rough.

  • Comments: Nice race. Loved the swim in a lake, since I get seasick in the ocean. Challenging bike course (somebody in the clydesdale group cheated and only did one lap). Nice run course (wish I could have enjoyed it). The volunteers were awesome! Screaming teenaged girls! I felt like one of the Jonas brothers.

  • Comments: Lots of volunteers who were very friendly and cheerful, easy check in, and the people in the race (competitors) were very supportive. Very organized race. One down, three to go.

  • Comments: 1st race of the year and a good solid start. Lots of places to improve on my performance but especially pleased that I mentally was in a good place and that I enjoyed racing.

  • Comments: For what it is, it's a great race series. Very low-key, great venue, great folks running it that have been doing it for nearly 3 decades. A great vibe to the race.
