  • Comments: Really had a good time at this race. Well organized, on time, friendly volunteers and good friends. Will definitely do again next year. A great tri for the first timer and I love that while competitive it is also very supportive and all the ladies are cheering for each other.

  • Comments: Food was junk snacks after; not many sponsors to check out goods/free samples. Loved the all womens feel of the event. Like the course.

  • Comments: This is a beautiful place to train and race, but the road is rough and the folks who run it do it on a shoestring (or spend the entry money on other things). The post-race food was snacks and water/gatorade in cups, not bottles. The swim course was too short because they hadn't measured it and the lake level had dropped from previous years. And parking seemed to be a nightmare if you arrived after 7:30 or so.

  • Comments: I will definately make this a routine race since it is so challenging and close to home. I like the all ladies venue as well. Day two is men only. One thing I did not mention on the bike section was the number or pre-race and race flat tires. One person I know got 2 flat tires before the race due to thorns. Many others on the course had flats. There also were a lot of prople de-railing on the ride due to poor shifting skills (or bikes in need of tune up?)

  • Comments: The Putah Creek facility is a camp ground/vacation home place that is rather shabby. I think I expected anything with "Napa" in the name to be on the posh side. The landscape was pretty and weather was perfect.

  • Comments: I hope to do this race next year so I can see how much I can improve on my running and biking. This is definately the hardest tri I have done so far. Next year I will do it under 2min!!

  • Comments: Just the third year of this event. Beautiful venue. Few things I hope they change for next year - would have liked to see the rankings for the individual events, a more standard wave system to start and a little more substantial (bagels?) food at the end of the event. It was also interesting that we weren't fully body marked - just our bib # on our hands. Not a huge deal, just interesting. Rumor is that they're doing a "histri" on Sunday next year as a follow-up to the all-women tri on Saturday.
