  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: I will definitely do this race again. It has a fairly low entry fee, and as such doesn't have a lot of frills. Nothing but water on the run course, nothing but water at the finish. The volunteers and traffic control wereGREAT this year, better than other times I've done it. I had a great time.

  • Comments: I really like this race. Downstream swim makes me feel fast. Bike course is just hard enough and run is always hot. Entry is really inexpensive and volunteers are great. This year, the traffic control was great and I didn't get lost for the first time! They did run out of water, I think I got the last bottle when finished but they found some more fairly quickly. Post race activities are pretty non existent but the price is right. I'm planning to go back next year!!

  • Comments: The race volunteers were awesome. The kayak crew was the best. They wouldn't let you go too far astray before "herding" you on course. There was a step getting out of the river and a person on each side to take an arm to help you over that step. They obviously understood the disorientation many people have after the swim. Again so much fun.

  • Comments: Very fun race, well organized, good volunteers. The downstream swim is a hoot and the bike course is a good challenge. I enjoyed it a lot and will plan on doing it again.

  • Comments: This is the 2nd year I've done this race and I really enjoy it. The volunteers are very good, there are some scary carpet covered rock areas but if I walk over them, it's not too bad. Post race isn't up to much really, grab a bottle of water and/or soda, I didn't see anything to eat at all. It's a good one though and I'll go back next year for sure. Gotta get through that run!

  • Comments: This is still one of my favorite races. The organizers are...well..organized, events are on time, the swim is downstream (what's not to like about that?), the return trip on the bike is fast and the run is flat.

  • Comments: I love this race! I will be back next year, and recommend it to anyone, but especially those who are making the jump to Oly distance with some reservations about the swim. Last year they had a great t-shirt, but this year there wasn't a shirt option at all. Last year's shirt was really weird and as such is one of my favorite race shirts - not the standard swim/bike/run icons - this year they chose to sell DeSoto tri shorts with the Titanium man logo and sponsors printed on them. If you do this race, remember that they have NO FOOD. Bring your own. The do have water and cans of soda, but nothing else. Overall, though, it was a well-run, fun race.

  • Comments: The volunteers were just great!! A big thanks is in order. At almost every corner and/or intersection, there was traffic control and encouragement. There was nothing to eat at the finish but that was the ONLY down thing. It was a great event and I'll be back next year to shave some time off of this years effort. Thanks also to TeamBlaze Spokane for all of the help and encouragement. Thanks sis for driving!
