  • Comments: Found out the guy at mile 10 didn't make it. He was a 27 yo man that had run marathons and all kinds of races. What they didn't know was he had a heart condition that was undetected.

  • Comments: Excellent race-perfect volunteer amount--never a dull moment for the entire run.

  • Comments: Reoccuring theme here, no beer and raw hamburgers were the order of the day. Great turn out by the athletes, awesome volunteers but the organizers failed to understand the requirements of a post race event. Again, the organizers poorly handled the post race events.

  • Comments: For a first time race, I was very impressed. Pretty small (3000 or so), but there were lots of volunteers along the course. And they went all out. Vintage warplane flyover, gel handout at miles 5 and 8, great food tent. I was very impressed.
