• Description: The race starts from Stresa, in a scenario which recalls the tourism of the 20th century with constant view of the Borromeo islands. This island hosts a timeless example of splendid baroque construction by the Borromeo family: known as Palazzo Borromeo, where Napoleon too was received. From the start line area, that runners will reach with a panoramic ferry-boat, you can admire magnificent buildings and villas facing the lake. Nearby there is a number of sites in Val d'Ossola including the Park of Val Grande, the Monte Rosa and Switzerland which is no more than 30 Km away. Leaving Stresa after the start the athletes will pass through the towns of Baveno and Feriolo enjoying a constant view of Maggiore lake.
  Once they enter Verbania, runners will pass by the best places of this town, such as Villa Taranto, Villa Giulia where the Sport Expo exhibition is held, and will finish their race in Piazza Garibaldi.
