  • Description: The run segments are partly on paved roads, and partly on a dirt trail in a wooded area. The bike segment is on paved roads. The course is located in the scenic town of Walpack in the Delaware Watergap National Recreation Area. The first 6K run starts from the Walpack Inn and heads south on Walpack Flatbrook Road. After heading up Pompey Road, the course turns right onto a dirt road that has been reclaimed in many locations by the trail team. A challenging run with elevation changes of over 270 feet, you will run for several kilometers without seeing a house. After returning to the Walpack Inn, the 21k bike race takes you through lower Walpack to Flatbrookville, a town almost forgotten in time. Great views of the Delaware River and Flatbrook line this section where you will climb several hills. The course wraps up on the great lawn at the Walpack Inn with the final 2K section which is relatively flat.

Both individual and 2 person teams are welcome to enter.
