• Description: On Saturday September 3rd, the Kansas City Parks and Recreation department will be hosting the Heartland Heat Triathlon. The Heartland Heat is a sprint triathlon that consists of a 400 meter swim, a 12 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run. The swim portion will take place at The Springs Aquatic Center. Both the bike ride and run will take place at Tiffany Hills Park.
