Easily one of the toughest days on the trainer.  I'm shot.  This was bordering on insane.  I imagine they planned these three workouts on the second to last day, cause had it been the second day I might not have made it past this workout.  Knowing tomorrow is the last day is what got me through.

Blah, trying to get the last of straggling Christmas/January snowmen decorations put away and redecorate. I have nothing in between winter and straight up spring. It seems too early to get out a bunch of spring stuff but I'm totally sick of looking at snowmen.
Wildfire freezer meal parties - the latest thing going around here for selling stuff out of your home parties. I've been invited to 2 of them this week. I guess it is all organic, no preservatives etc etc. You go shop for all the food on your own. Everyone gets together to make the meals, you use their brand of spices and sauces and recipes. It's a no go for us of course as I'd have to alter everything for DD and check every sauce bottle for citric acid  and with her eliminations who knows what we would end up with LOL.
Speaking of food, I am really having a craving for a brownie hot fudge sundae lately!

Starting the morning with a little cleaning, then heading out with a friend to do some glassblowing. Word is that snow is on the way for tomorrow and it very well sounds like tomorrow could be my first snowshoeing day of the year. Weather people won't commit to how much we'll get. It depends on how far north the rain/snow line is, but I'm hoping the rain line stays well south of us and we get a good 6 inches. I took the leather bindings off my snowshoes and got some nylon strapping. I saw a video on UTube that looked like a much better way to secure the shoes to my foot, so I'm anxious to try it out.

My butt seems to be stuck to the couch....

Finally off the couch but no where or desire to run outside. Snow on the trials with frozen ruts and streets are too narrow to run on with shoulder height snowbanks either side. St Pat's 5K is in 7 weeks so I will jump into a couch to 5K plan. Ain't that the literal truth!

Stats taken after trainer session and before dinner, %water 68.6, muscle 38.8, bone 4.0.
Today was Stage 8 of the Tour of Sufferlandria 2015. And what a stage! This combined what are essentially 3 sprinting training sessions. The first, Revolver has 16 intervals at 100% FTP and is relatively short. I actually did it not too long ago. The the main course - Violator. O-M-Gosh --- 64 sprints!! Now the first set had plenty of rest in between but efforts were 130 - 150% of FTP!! The next two sets had less sprints but less recovery time too and in the last one I wasn't sure if I was sprinting or recovering, there was so little time in between! Whew! But, that wasn't all. To add insult to injury, dessert was "Half is Easy". Two 10 minute sets of 20 :15 intervals at 110% FTP with 4 min rest in between. WHEW! The sweat was DRIPPIN' let me tell ya! But, I survived.
