Gorgeous ride last night! Got to the top of Evergreen Mountain as the sun slipped behind Mt. Evans (pics below).
Have to spend most of the day driving to Fairplay to pick up frames. I'd put it off but I need to ship off a painting to a show tomorrow and need the frame for it! Then I suppose I'll drop my bike off to get the brakes fixed. It's so nice out that I'm tempted to just ride it, but I don't want to damage my rotors. Guess it'll be road bike or fatbike this week.
Got asked to be a coaching assistant for the high school mountain bike team up here. Basically, they just need a female to mentor the girls. Might be fun - haven't hashed out the details yet to see if it's something I could actually fit into my schedule though.
Back to better eating today. No junk, more plants. After many months of just not caring, I'm pretty motivated right now to drop a few pounds before summer, and eat foods that make me healthier.

Was sick this past week. First hit with a 24 hour puke bug. Took a couple of days off then hit with another virus that just zapped me. Took some more days off. Today a daily double. Run this evening was in some cold rain along with some sun breaks at times a bit uncomfortable but absolutely beautiful. Great to feel alive.

Had PT this morning and will be glad when I can swim and do weights in the morning along with something else in the afternoon. This would've been the day to do that as it was in the 60s during the early afternoon. But, had PT in the morning and swim/run had to wait until I was done with work for the day in the early evening. I was initially afraid of thunderstorms in the afternoon and the pool closing but there were just showers and I was able to get the swim in. Better at pacing myself this evening for the swim, though the 200s may still have been faster than HIM pace. Thing is, I only have 1 HIM distance where I didn't wear a wetsuit and that was 4 years ago. It was a 2:16 pace. I took these 200s at a 2:04 to 2:08 pace, so not too much faster.

Tomorrow will be a tempo ride on the CT.

Thurs: repeat of today except more for endurance.

Friday: big gear strength on the CT

Sat: long ride and strength swim

Sunday: supposed to only be 60-70 min run but I'll probably do[...]

7:46am:  Back in the office.  Sigh.  I so love my off days.
The trainer beatdown of yesterday was rescheduled for today since yesterday was too beautiful to not be outside.
I've been having massive trouble falling asleep recently; you know that when I can comment on the Jimmy Fallon or Seth Meyers show, things are not good.  Not sure what's going on, but I think I just might need to unplug more before hitting the sheets.  Turn off the devices and the TV and all that.

Ergh!  Whenever I put off my workout for later in the day something happens.  My much anticipated plumber appt (broken shower) has been scheduled for 11:30-1:30 - right smack in the middle of swim time!  And.... in the end plumber was a no show.  
Breakfast: raw apple pear tart
Snack: GREEN smoothie: almond milk, spinach, blueberries, banana & seeds
Lunch: pasta shells with black olives, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese & o&v
Snack: slow cooked broccoli & pancetta
Dinner: jasmine rice, green curry asparagus & baby bok choy, 2 squares dark chocolate

Consumed < 1600 calories
My weight is a total yo yo.  Need to get even tougher with my eating.  I really really want to get below 140.
