I got nothing. Long day in the office with too many 80-85 yo patients with too many complex issues and very poor historians. Just trying to keep them moving forward. Same with my Dad. Spoke with Rehab doc who I think has only seen him sitting down. He is a big Irish blarney thrower who looks good sitting down. Course he can't always sit and that is when the problems start. You might think a Rehab doc would be a little more aware... I will head over to see him on Sunday. 2 hours each way. I think it is time to get an EZ Pass. Hoped to go for a walk after work but is was dark by the time I finished dinner. Sat by the fire pit instead.

Thunderstorms this morning + laziness = skipped run. But, after I got home, I decided to get the run in anyway. Relatively cool (but still hot) and about 40% humidity. Pace was good, legs were a bit sore from Wednesday's dynamic drills.

A day of doing next to nothing, a pretty good massage followed by half an hour in the sauna and an evening (short one) of music with friends and a couple of glasses of red wine = my back feels much better. However, I can't spend every day like that. Today, I am going to do a little bit of stretching/foam rolling and get a short spin bike ride in and see how it goes. Not too much, though when my back feels better, I feel guilt for not working out more.
Can I count standing at my desk as something? Turns out that is all I had going on today. More music with more friends tonight. And you can bet I am gonna have some of that healing, red wine, too!

Rest day! 
You know how some days your scale doesn't budge for MONTHS? Or it only moves like .5 lb, no matter what you do? 
Today's weigh in was the opposite-  weighed in at 133.5 which is pretty much the lowest weight I've ever reached in my adult life (the last time I hit it, I had braces and a lot of food was off limits). Last week I was down to like 136.5, which sounded right for the strict eating plan I've ben on (I usually hover at like 139)…. so I'm not sure what's causing the change today, but I'm pretty sure it's not real; I must be dehydrated or have gotten rid of a lot of food recently or something. Whatever the cause, my tummy is nice and flat today…. hopefully this makes getting into that size-too-small wedding dress a little easier. Still can't believe how snug it was when I picked it up --- especially since I didn't want to have to lose any weight for the big day in the first place!
