Well off to LBS and in typical fashion I could have ridden yesterday. I never saw a drop of rain all day long - SMH

Got a nice mountain bike ride in last night also. Missed the group ride by a couple of minutes due to running late at dinner so I just went off and did my own route and worked on handling skills on the Rigid 29'er that is in the mix for Tour Divide duty. Need to get suspension fork for her to make my final decision because right now it is definitely a no!

Half day at work then home to wrangle the baby.  I am going to call in a minute to get her into the doctor.  I am sure there's nothing much going on - she seems so happy otherwise but is getting this fever intermittently and its been since the weekend.  That one tooth still hasn't popped and she has a bit of a cold.  But for a baby sent home twice from daycare this week due to fever you wouldn't know. 6:22am:  I'm ready for the weekend.  Just sayin'.
Another gorgeous day!  I have a trainer beatdown after work, but hope to get outside for a nice walk/jog afterwards.  Gotta take advantage of these perfect days.
I leave for Canada next weekend!  Aack!  I have a lot to do between now and then, that's for sure.
I listened to an awesome podcast last night on my walk ... The TED Radio Hour show from last week called Champions is definitely worth a listen to.  There are 4 segments in all, but the interviews with Diana Nyad and Amy Purdy were outstanding. Incredibly inspiring.

Work was emotionally exhausting and could have ended badly. In the end no one was injured everyone went home safe. It's exhilarating but takes its toll.
The thought of getting changed and running was too much. excuse.

Silly guy got the giggles when it was time for his picture :).
Turned cool here again - 55 degrees here this morning! Feels like Fall instead of Summer. Some friends stopped by last night so we didn't get the kids to bed until 10:00. They won't be up and ready to go so I can get in a swim at the Y before I teach my class. DH is out of town for meetings so I will probably be on the trainer for a workout  I guess.
