Had an awesome night's sleep. Skipped swimming and was asleep by 9pm. My Garmin says i got 5 hours of deep sleep and it feels like it. Still a bit grumpy.

7:37am: Not Friday. Almost Friday. The slog through January always seems interminable. 
Strength training after work. I'm still pretty sore from Tuesday, so it should be fun.
Other than that, not a whole lot to report. I've got a list a mile long or work projects that need to be addressed and I'm slowly chipping away, but it grows faster than I work. It'll get better -- the two new guys are catching on (one more than the other) and will hopefully soon start carrying more weight around here. Not their fault, we're just at an awkward stage where they still need mentoring, but we're getting impatient with wanting them to fly on their own.

The achilles were tight on my run the other day so I figured I needed to back off a bit.  No run today.  Did some yoga cause I need the active recovery work.  Maybe I will leave work in time to make the Barre class tonight.

6:12am: Decided that I needed to do a little more work at work, so I've started closing everything that is not work-related. Which makes me pretty damn productive, I'll say, but also makes it more difficult to keep up here. 
Started up strength training again, not my favorite thing but it's necessary. Definitely feeling it today! This week I also am not eating any sugary stuff (slacker no-sugar rules... I'm still eating fruit and my yogurt is sweetened, but no candy, cookies, donuts, etc) to see if that's a factor in my headaches. So far, 3 days in, I'll say it isn't since I've had two already. But I'll keep going until the end of the week. Plus, no sugar + working out more = gained 3 pounds. Makes perfect sense, right?
Probably something treadmill-ish this afternoon.
And now, time to close the browser and get to work. :)

Sleep won this morning. Really felt like I needed it too.

Got a Stitch Fix (my second) yesterday. The first fix was really great and I kept everything. The second - blech. I wish I had taken pictures of the 2 sweaters that came -- I asked for a caramel colored sweater and got a gold cardigan that was absolutely immense on me. And it was the correct size, it was just huge and godawful looking.

Asked for a maroon or red sweater and received one that was absolutely gorgeous. Looked like a tunic length with the side slits. Put it on and the darn thing is hip length but still with side slits --wtf? Like it didn't know what it wanted to be.

Asked for a plaid shirt. Got one that I was kind of one the fence about, but it came out of the box extremely wrinkled, so right there that's a negative. Put it on, it's cute but neckline so low you can see my bra. wft? If you are going to send me something requires a camisole, then send me one to go wear with it.
