OK, ended up with some weird encouragement via a shopping trip.  Something must be happening because I've gone down a size in Kuhl activewear.  It's a little tight, but if I'd gone up to the next size it would have been far too big.  So, something is working and I need to keep going so that the new shorts are a tiny bit less tight.
That also contributed to my decision to go ahead and up my walk to 3 miles. :)

So, looking at the last three weeks of activity vs. the scale, it's obvious that I really need to up my activity and intensity. :/
Wouldn't it be great if wishful thinking worked? :)

I really want to ride. My only option to ride outside is probably my hybrid but it has 2 flat tires. I think I could ride that without putting weight on my collar bone because I sit more straight up but it is so heavy I'm not sure I could get it out of the van when I get to the state park. Plus like I mentioned, it has 2 flat tires..... sigh
Aired up my hybrid tires, was able to get my bike in the van myself. Drove all the way to the state park and the front tire was totally flat as in zero air. Grrr. Slammed the door, drove straight home and road the trainer again.
The good news is my shoulder is feeling a lot better today.
Planted the flowers from my sister today. That was a lot of work and they look like they are ready to die! Hopefully they will adjust.

Another lovely rest day! I woke up at 4:30am, managed to snooze until 6am, got up and fed the dog, and then fell asleep all contorted on the couch until 9:45. Spent the morning feeling hungover from too much sleep.
All in all, the rest of today is shaping up well. I met a friend for lunch at one of our favorite sushi places, picked up some yummy macarons at the bakery, and also managed to bring home some new swimmer's conditioner and spray mineral sunscreen.
The weather is so pretty today, and I'm feeling really good. Good days are fairly few and far between, so I am really enjoying this one! :)

Man, it's just been a busy week. Still acclimating to the new job, and now getting ready to head out to Arizona for two months to complete military duty. It's going to be hot out there.

The plan is to get out later today for a ride.

So took 3 weeks off after injury to Knee and Ankle playing Tag in Sand at Playgournd with Kids.
Today went well. Very well, until rejoining "Incline-Destroyed-Trail" that is full of 'Rock Gardens', "Water-Trough Trails" and has been made dramatically steeper and less navigable over the last few years the Incline has been "Legal". Legal is in quotes becuase once it became Legal there are some rules in place- Not open before Sunrise nor after Sunset, don't Park in Barr Trail Parking lot, etc.- Rules that are routinely violated by even the casual Incline Weasel. So much so that when I mention said Rules to casual Incliners at work they are shocked and relay that they see voilations everytime they go up.
Today, Multiple folks coming down who had to have been on Trail well before Sunrise. Line of probably 12 Cars trying to Park in Barr Lot after Incline Lot full as I came back down. Awesome.

Woke up too late to run with my friends so I did a loop in the neighborhood. 
Our pool level dropped almost 2 feet overnight.  Found a hole in the liner & patched it.  Seems to be holding.  We are planning on a new liner next spring.  We also have to replace the sand in the filter next year.
Decent ride.  Legs didn't have much--and it's a little windy out--but a good ride.  Now that I have had play time I need to shower & clean the house.

Not sure what the plan is for today. Tomorrow I need to do a 4 hour ride, and have a couple of friends who might join me. Today calls for an hour and a half, but I'll probably cut it to an hour and make it an easy ride somewhere.
One of my upcoming races just got relocated - Bear Creek park is still underwater (why my last race was cancelled) and that's where they hold the Beti Bash, so they made the decision to move it to a different trail system down in Castle Rock. Never ridden the trails there, but it's the same course as the 12 hrs of E-Rock the weekend before, so I'll have ridden it a few times by the time that race is over. This rain needs to stop!
