Well did my 1 yard swim today. Man that was cold. It was shore 25 feet of open water then the ice. Trying to find some after or during pictures. The thing after you are just trying to get out of wet stuff and dry and then run to the car. Thanks for the donations everyone. i raised 500 dollars and Y raise another 200. The whole thing for Canandaigua was 25grand. Marmadaddy did well too. he swore at me a lot was but was trying to figure out what he could do better next year.

Busy day....
So, I ate pizza last night (wheat) and woke up feeling horrible today. Wanted to go for a run, but time got away from me and it didn't happen. I really wanted to see how the wheat affected my breathing. The only wheat thing I had today was carrot cake, so we will see how things go tomorrow.

What happened to our graphs? I used to see several weeks and be able to compare my training week to week at a glance. Now I only see this week. What gives? Never mind, graphs are back.
Developed a head ache in the middle of the night and more stomach discomfort. Not feeling very good so far this morning. Kind of feel like I could lay back down and fall asleep. Not sure what the deal is.
Taking a day of rest, I just don't feel right and I want to rest. I did lay back down on the couch this morning. Didn't fall asleep but just laid here and that is not like me at all. Took a hot bath then laid back down again. By this time it was 9:30 and the family was getting ready to leave to go shopping for new birthday bikes for the kids. I was planning on going to swim but I didn't want to miss that! DS has his first bike that changes gears and DD got a big girl sparkly purple bike. It is only 34 degrees outside today but they have been riding all over the neighborhood since we got home!

I think my rib is out at T4.  I will have that confirmed on Monday.  I can't even lay on the foam roller and moving in certain ways hurts very bad.  I didn't go run the Dash Point half this morning and that makes me sad.  I must heal.

OK, the workouts are going great and I'm thrilled with my consistency and progress.  It's time to add in some serious food monitoring and self control to let all these workouts bring my weight down.  I've been sitting right around 210 for months now, even with all the Half Mary training and now all my riding.  I've been feeding the workouts and it stops today!
209 this morning and I WILL be below 200 when I ride the TdC 100 on May 16th!!!

The exhaustion of commuting and my cramped up quads kept me home this morning.  Plus knowing the training plan calls for 12 miles and I would have had another 6 miles when I got home AND it's in the 20's out there didn't help.  Tried to get up, but could not.
I have definitely lost my edge on all this....just not excited about it at all. Time to do something new.  Get me through June, please.
