Exhausted today. This is the first week in a long time I worked all 6 days in a row.  New little kitten brought home hook worms, gave it to one of the cats and now the dogs might have it. Ugh! It's like ebola in my house.  Two cats quarantined separately and every time a dog uses the bathroom I have to clean it up and throw it out so we don't get them in the yard.  Need a hazmat suit. This is exactly the kinda thing that happens to me.  LOL
Running tomorrow after work.  Missed my swim today.

10' on the elliptical trainer to warm up followed by a crappy PT session. His last one so instead of an hour it was really only 30'. I complained to gym manager but they won't reimburse my outstanding session and instead offered another freebie so now I have 2 PT sessions left with yet ANOTHER new PT! And my guy - after 5 sessions - 2 of which were a joke - asked me if I'd give him a referral. Ya because my results were so stellar!?

I haven't felt like doing ANYTHING in days, so I haven't. I know at least a little is just lower energy levels from fewer calories, but I'm sure there's a psychological component as well. Just feeling really "done".

Blocking in a couple of big paintings today, then will try to lift or something. Tomorrow is Halloween, which is pretty much an all day affair with the kids, between the school parade, two parties, and trick or treating after school. And that's with me being anti-social and begging off of two parties tomorrow night.
No other plans this weekend other than stopping by a friend's art opening on Saturday, so hopefully I can squeeze in some nice morning rides while the weather is still good.

Dr. M today.  Is it weird that I'm actually hoping he tells me that I'm going to need some kind of procedure?  Physical therapy hasn't worked (each of the 2 rounds I went through).  Chiropractor hasn't worked (none of the three of them).  I've gotten an ESI.  I've done spinal decompression therapy, laser therapy, electrical stimulation.  I've tried ice, heat, biofreeze, epsom salts, foam roller.  So frustrating.

2nd day in a row that I have worked from home since I feel crappy. Got afrin for my nose (that was a first time experience I am not al that happy with) but at least it opened up my nose so I can sleep. Slept pretty good. Feel better today but not 100%.

My brain was fried after work last night from 8 hours of diagnosing imaginary employees and their development levels, assigning leadership styles, role-playing, documenting imaginary conversations/evaluations, filling out worksheets and self-assessments, etc. I promptly swung by the Chinese takeout place and sat my butt on the couch all night. 
I'm enjoying the freedom of not having a structured workout plan, but I also know that if I don't get back on something a LITTLE bit structured, this week will become the norm. Right now my mind is in Puerto Vallarta though (4 more sleeps!

First workout in a few days. Felt great! Funny how an easy training run pace can be a HARD racing run pace.

Plan for November is to just take it easy, especially on the run. Going to strive for:

1x swim a week
2x bike a week
2x run a week

Goal is to take it easy, let body rest a little and heal. Also going to work on rehabbing Achilles Tendons in prep for marathon training. Going to start to ramp it up at the end of November and once December comes around, I want to be in full marathon training mode.

I'm wrestling with the idea of signing up for IMKY next year.

Really feeling back to myself. I have a to-do list for the week, my runs are all pre-scheduled, my bedtime is normal, and I'm back in WLC. Feeling pretty good! 
Starting a 50 mile challenge for November tomorrow, and also will be doing a 100-burpee challenge for the next 7 days. We also have our BFF Winter Running Fashion Show on Sunday. I'm pretty jazzed to be back in the OP fitness scene!
