Spent all afternoon on the phone with Dell yesterday about my tablet. There will be no more Dell computers in this house. Sad because we have owned more than I can count. We are getting ready to buy new desktops. We're going to to through a small local company and build just what we want.

Busy, but fun day on the agenda. Going back out with my mom, then meeting friends for a beer tasting. Honestly, the menu and beer choices sound a little scary to me, but I'm going to try everything!

Today is core day! Last time, I added some moves that I've never done or haven't done for a long time. It feels really good to be getting stronger (although the process is way slower than I'd like!)

reading racing weight and the quick start by Matt Fitzgerald. Damn. It seems every time I try and focus on my weight, it goes up. I did have a beer last night and a slice of white bread with my chili, but otherwise, super clean day. Pisses me off. :(

I did however have an awesome time celebrating Kim and Dan's accomplishments at Kona with the team last night. So good to see so many peeps! A few are doing IMFL and one couple new tot the team are doing IM Australia on 12/7 for their first. I offered to ride with them if they'd like company. Ugh! :) So glad to not be on a focused plan at the moment.

I also heard from my Kona Krush Marie. Missing that girl! Wish I was coming to visit mid November again. Not wishing to be racing IMAZ though...and happy to be in the Keys that weekend. I may get in trouble for stalking the Potters and my EN teammates! ;)

HOME! Got in 11:30 last night and had to be at my desk at 7:00 am with a 2 hour time change lapse. fun and games. It was a great trip over all but damnation, I am glad to not be dusty 24/7!
My back hurt so bad I was sick to my stomach. I am thinking this is kidney related. Not happy about that but it makes sense.

Back and forth to western Mass for my Dad's orthopedic appt. Still not able to put weight on his left arm to use his walker. Very tough to hear for him as he has not been home since he fell at the end of Aug. He was talking about stopping dialysis and just "checking out". He was crying and I was crying when I got him back to the nursing home. Long drive home in the wind and rain. I got home in time to teach Spin but there was only one signed up to I just cancelled and stayed home by the fire.

I bailed on today's run, but moved it to tomorrow morning. So, today marks the return of the MAMIL, as I should be able to get the bike out on the road for the first time in a while. I rode a short one last week and today should be a bit more. And then there will be a trip back in time as TW and I go to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" on stage. There is a bit of trepidation to seeing this put on by the local community theatre company. It could go be awesome, ugly, or something in the middle I guess, so we'll simply go with the flow.

No time to run today. Took Mom to doctor's visit then to lunch. Visited Dad in hospital for a few hours, then drove back to P.V. for church function, smoke investigation at Holiday Inn, then home finally for boys bath and nighttime routine.
