It is gonna be a long day training then driving home. Power outages and air conditioning going out kept me up most of the night. I turned the alarm off instead of doing a workout. Hopefully I'll get home before 9. Tomorrow is my day off though. Yay!

Should be a group ride tonight.
I need to take the new Cateye bike computer back to the store.  It went all the way through set up fine - I put it on my bike overnight.  On Sunday I went to ride and it is totally dead.
GF is going to go to the sprint triathlon on the 5th then we'll spend the rest of the weekend in the mountains.  FUN!
 
I really need to get in the pool and do some running.

Of course, no sooner did I decided to do some strength (HA!) work, the skies cleared.  But, I now have new places on my body which will scream at me tomorrow.

Thinking I am going to have to skip the proper walk today - there are pop up thunderstorms all over the place, and my legs are pretty dead.  I do have some ab & arm work that I desperately need to get started on, so I think I see that in my future.

Baah, nothing today. Both flights were delayed and by the time I got to the hotel and ate, it was time to get ready for dinner. Had an amazing dinner and then wine afterwords with just my VP.
SUCH a great conversation. I mentioned that I'm not necessarily tied to Wichita and she threw out there that if I wanted to stay in my position and relocate within our region that we could probably work something out. Something I've been thinking on in the back of my head (and having dreams about!). Nothing I'm going to take action on right now, but definitely an option for the future.

The sun is out again! Supposed to have a Dirt Divas ride tonight, but I'm sort of expecting it to get rained out, so I might do a short ride today just in case.
I'm a little bit burnt out on my bike right now. I think the combination of squeezing in rides between bouts of crappy weather, having to drive to find dry trails, and having to spend a ton of time cleaning my bike every time I get out have me down. I've also had a couple of big weeks, so I think I'm just tired. Honestly, it would be nice if the ride tonight is a go, just so I can go do a fun ride! Have to do a 4.5 hour ride this weekend and I'm going to get out early Saturday morning and knock it out before Aspen's dance recital that afternoon. Sunday I'm leaving for Phoenix for a couple of days, and I'm honestly looking forward to just being lazy while we're there. Hoping my races the following two weekends are a go. 25 years with my better half today! Hard to believe we've been together so long. We didn't do anything fancy, but did go to Zekes BBQ in Ferndale for dinner. Ate way too much, and talked and laughed a lot. We talked about all the places we've lived, missing our parents, our wedding day shenanigans, the babies. :) Feeling very blessed to have made such a wonderful/challenging/loving/crazy life with Dave. I must have done something really really good in a former life!

Today was also Brian's last full day of school. His Troy education has come to an end. Booked our room for orientation right after we move. So much going on around here!
