We got about a half inch of fluffy snow yesterday morning. It melted away by the afternoon but was a nice break from the ever-present grey landscape.
Was sleeping too well this morning to get up and run, might squeeze something in this evening if time allows.

Today is my last day of work for the year.  The university is closed the 24th-5th (mostly holidays with two mandatory vacation days in there on 12/29 and 1/2).  As you know, my vacation was messed up by the accident/surgery in September and I had three days left so I'm taking tomorrow as well as the 22nd and 23rd off.
√ In terms of training, today is a rest day.  I'll do TRX, etc. tonight when I do my PT.

ACK!!!  Where's the Manatee group???  Is it that time of year already?  Holy crap on a cracker - when did that happen?
Annnnd, just like that the morning mojo got up and went.  Well, not entirely - I still got up, and went to the loo, and then went back to bed.  :)   
It's ok though, Tony and I have our first walk-through of the house today at 3:30pm and then after that we're headed to the gym and I'm determined to get both a swim and maybe a spin class done today.  WOOT!  
A question for anyone that comes by here and reads my ramblings...  how do you handle stress?  More than just the everyday stresses of work, traffic, etc., but the big life stresses like buying a house, immigration, trying to get a downpayment together in a month, trying to get out of the lease at the apartment building you HATE living in no matter if you get the aforementioned house or not... and, of course, having all of these things happening at once.[...]

Stats taken after Sufferfest and before getting something to eat/drink, %water 68.2, muscle 37.7, bone 3.9. Decided to try and get my swim mileage up just a bit for the NCC but wanted to save freestyle session for Friday. So, did mostly breast stroke. Tell ya, though, difficult to do the freestyle part as shoulders were bothering a bit. Kinda worked itself out after a bit. Was an okay swim. Did it somewhat to work out the left glute area that turned painful after yesterday's run. Wore hip compression shorts during the day and these helped.

Then decided on a Sufferfest video workout on the CT. Didn't want to go too long but did need intervals. So "Revolver" it was. As evidenced by HR data, this is a set of 16 110% FTP 1 min intervals with 1 min recovery...whew! Got pretty tough near the end and sweat was drippin'! HR pushes past LT for these too!
