Weighed in about 4 lbs heavier than I'd like to be this morning. I'm sure it's mostly water, but I think a week of little to no activity combined with eating like I'm riding every day didn't do much to help. Also, girl scout coookies - 'nuf said... Going to cut back on refined crap and sugar, get things back under control.
Asked one of the local mom's group on Facebook for dentist recommendations so I can get a second opinion on Owen's teeth, and got my inbox flooded with horror stories about the pediatric dentist we've been using - overtreating, overcharging, and traumatizing kids. All not good. Taking him into another dentist today for a second opinion. Either way, I think we'll be finding someone new. Learning to trust my instincts as a mom - when something seems off, there's usually a reason...

Man, I would love to get in a crossfit class.  Stuff is fun.  BUT, I'm holding back to not over train.  I can feel the body a little achey and need to get used to working out again.  May do an easy run tonight - at least that's what's planned.

Stats taken after CT and before dinner, %water 67.4, muscle 37.1, bone 3.9. After shoveling snow, decided I needed to do a Sufferfest video so I could start getting back into things. Though a good amount of "the blame" is on me, getting that cold that lingered, then PT limitations, and this darn weather have really demotivated me for the past several weeks. So, attempting to kick my butt back in gear a bit. I do have a race in less 4 weeks too! Got 7 inches more of the white stuff today - YUK! At least it looks like it will warm up after tomorrow and I'll also be going to San Francisco/AZ next week where it looks like mid-60s for highs. Compared to what we've had here on the east coast, that will seem hot. So, looking forward to it!

Tomorrow - PT in the morning. Might try to swim after that and perhaps stay at the gym and see about intervals on stair stepper or elliptical. Might just go back after work too. This is assuming the gym is open as it's still a bit difficult to[...]

Woke up 3:45 again. Same as the other day. Tried to fall back to sleep, no go so just got up. I actually felt fine all day though so no big deal.
Earth shattering. Decided with all of DS's homework meltdowns, forgotten assignments and books, absent minded mistakes that maybe we should take a closer look at what he is eating too. He eats all the home cooked stuff and FG friendly food at home but at school he was eating whatever. School lunch, bday treats from friends, whatever garbage someone hands him basically. So it's been a couple of weeks. He has had to pass up some good treats at school and take his lunch every single day. He was laying it on heavy last week to make me feel sorry for him that friends were making faces at his lunch or how hard it was to pass up the treats. I made him a chocolate sheet cake and put it in the freezer. He gets a piece in his lunch on Fridays and if he passes up something good at school he can pick a treat at home. 3 miles with 6x1 minute hill repeats.  Likely on the treadmill cause we are supposed to be getting another winter storm. (joyous)
Headache is mostly better.  
Good run, even if on the treadmill cause of ice out there.  Sleet and freezing rain all day.  Made my hill sections elevations of 3-4.5%

BP ranged from 135/85 down to 113/76 this morning. I took a lot of readings. Most were in the 120-126/80-86 range. This is the pre-hypertensive range.
My weight took another big drop today. Most of the change is due to using the Oak Ridge scales which seem to weigh lighter. Exercise and diet have been consistent. Yesterday was a travel day but it was late enough not to affect the morning poop.
Janice said that if I lose down to 155, I will have to bulk up my shoulders and chest so that I don't look like a shriveled old man. Body Beautiful for 63 year olds. No more sissy weights.  I shall dust off the 25 lb dumbbells and pump it up. Ha.
Rain, freezing rain and snow are coming down right now. I think we may be on the warm end of the prediction range and not much will stick. The lake house is colder. I hope the trees don't get iced.

I wondered why my head nearly blew up. The change in temp (and pressure) went from 57 to 37 and from sunny to sleeting in 3 hours. My sinuses are not equipped for that much change.
It cleared up for just long enough for me to think I would walk to the Inn. Now it is 15 mph wind and sleety rain. I think I'll hoop instead and drive over.
