Have had 3 very good workouts even though I don't really like the yoga still. During the evening not done a lot cause of some fatigue, but not too much to handle. After a good night sleep everything will be alright I guess. I hope that I'll be having my period soon. Otherwise my weight gain would not be explained for for 100 percent. Furthermore I am busy trying to accept my situation for what it is. I should not complain, there are no guarantees in life to start with and I have many blessings.

Today we have homeschool, piano lessons at 2:00, then I have a hair appointment at 4:15 (Yay). I have not had my hair cut since I chopped it a couple of months ago and I have not really liked this hair style much so I think I will have her chop it again and start all over. There are too many layers at the bottom and it flips every which way unless I have to time to blow dry and straighten every single day which I don't.
So, I think I will ride the trainer as soon as I get back from taking Gabe to school while Grace eats breakfast. She likes to watch a cartoon before we start lessons anyway.
Hair dresser left some layers at the bottom. DH really seems to like it and told me several times my hair looks nice. Of course it always looks nice when I leave the salon! We'll see how it looks after I swim and have no time to dry my hair.

5 whole minutes of core work ha ha ha. Don't even know if that is worth recording :).

High Altitude

Finishing up yet another commission today before I can go do anything else. After this I have one more to do - I am going to be so thankful to get to my own work when I'm done with all of these! Also need to remember to pick up my bike this morning.
Planning to head up to Winter Park tomorrow to drop off two commissions, then ride my bike. When I was racing King of the Rockies, I was killing myself up the Tipperary climb, thinking to myself what I nice ride it would be in the fall since it's all through aspen groves and meadows. So I'm going to revisit it, take some pictures, take my time and enjoy it.
Still trying to talk Janet into Kenosha on Wed or Thurs. If she doesn't come, I'll probably go anyhow and just ride the easy side and take pictures. I get a little bit creeped out riding by myself when there's no cell service in an area, but I can take the spot. It's too pretty up there to not try to get in a ride this week!

Awoke in the middle of the night in a serious funk. Not sure why except I had some friends climb Mt. Washington this weekend and I'm feeling a little sorry for myself. Want to spend the day in my chair in front of the tv alternating napping and eating, but I will force myself to hit every single goal on my list today. Pretty fun day yesterday - we ended up staying up LATE Saturday night with Rob and his ladyfriend (who is 24 years old... and Rob's 32nd b-day was yesterday. Super interesting pair-up) and this was after I was basically up since 2 a.m., had ran 14 miles, outlet shopped for 3 hours and stuffed ourselves at Cheesecake Factory. So we were pretty exhausted yesterday but did brunch in Westport at a restaurant one of our friend's owns, and then the Royal's game. It was deceptively warm at the game but I did have some sunscreen on me, thank goodness. Still exhausted this morning, but glad we had a fun get-a-way weekend with good friends!

Busy day in the office. Cough & cold season seems to have begun. Had an IT issue just as I was leaving and ended up a little late for Spin. Found a free bike in the back corner. Good to forget about stuff and just ride for a bit. Started my day chasing chickens in my robe and boots-such a fashion plate and then waking up my daughter to complain that I couldn't wear what I wanted to work because she had once again taken and never returned what I intended to wear. I have had it with her mess and shopping my closet. She informed my husband she is never moving out. Shoot me.

Three more weeks of commuting to the office beginning today.....UGH.  Major accident on 95N blocking the left lane today followed by a disabled vehicle in the right lane a few miles later.  It took me 25 minutes to go under 5 miles.  I began to wonder if I should get out and walk it.
New person #2 is not as sharp as new person #1 was, but she is asking reasonable questions.  I am trying to be optimistic that she will work out for us.
We were supposed to have a session with MrE tonight but John got stuck in  a late meeting so we rescheduled for Wednesday night.
