Newly Redesigned, lower volume Lift Routine- A Righteous Destruction.
15s except for 2nd Set of Back Extensions.
7.5lbs on Shoulders, but 5lbs on "Finish Up" portion- Anterior Tibialis, Shrugs, and Wrist Lifts, all 15 X 2 in 2 rounds. Need to cut down on Anterior Tibialis, say 25-30 for next time, or at least for 2nd Set.
85 on Flys and Assisted Dips.
No Extra.
Will keep routine as is for at least 1 more session (Probably Saturday) then make some changes.

Stats taken after workout on the trainer and before dinner, %water 69.2, muscle 38.4, bone 4.0. As planned, easy workout on the CT. Got everything done that I had to do but pack! That's in progress but it's going to a somewhat late evening unfortunately. Hopefully won't take me too long. One issue that's worrisome is that my left inside ankle is "uncomfortable" from last evening's treadmill session. Not painful, I'm just feeling like the tendon is pulling/separating from the ankle area. Will see about possibly getting tape from the Expo on Friday. I'll also be compressing it and probably putting pain cream on it. Just hope it holds

Tomorrow: Pick up Jon Ege and drive to race site. Might try to drive the bike course if we get there before it gets dark.

Fri: breakfast with the pros :), packet pickup, race prep

No workout today.
Told PSR that I can't do it this year. Quitting. I'll sub and stay on until they find someone else but I just need some mental health time. I'm mentally drained after working with DD all day and don't have it in me to put up with nonsense, silliness and helplessness of 18 2nd graders.

We're also cutting back to just Thursdays for Toddler Gym starting in November. Only had one student yesterday again.

What a crummy run after a crummy day.  Work was hectic and I was trying to do about 10 things at once most of the day (with the occasional BT break to recover my sanity).  Tonight was supposed to be training club but that got cancelled so Joey told me to run 5 mi. and send him the time.  I obviously didn't manage that.  Then I was planning to meet up with the Denver chapter of Team RWB, which I've just joined, for their usual Wed. night workout.  I couldn't find them.  So much for that.  I just sent Joey my time for what I managed tonight as well as for last night's much better (albeit slower) run.  I also included a note asking about what I can expect from the training club.  Since all I've gotten so far is a t-shirt and a couple of basic group workouts per week, I'm not real keen on paying $40/month if this is all it's going to be.  While the social aspect is nice, I don't mind running by myself (I've been doing it since March) and [...]

So, I didn't manage a workout yesterday, thinking I'd do yoga at bedtime, but that obviously didn't work out. I mean, how often do I actually workout after bedtime?? Almost never. Why do I always act like that's an option? 
I'm thinking about doing the Bailey Hundito next year (the 50 mile option of the Hundo race). I have a couple of friends who are thinking about it, the trails are great, it's close to home, and I'd love to do a longer race (longest this year was 25 miles). Only problem is time. 50 miles on a mountain bike is probably over 6 hours for me, which means some pretty decent training time. I'd have to be committed to putting in the time in the Spring since the race is in June. I'm tempted though. Now that the kids are in school 5 days a week, I wonder if I could make it work by taking one weekday every other week to do a super long ride, leaving weekends open for shorter rides and family stuff.

Taking MIL to the doctor this morning. Not a lot else on the schedule. Need to get my car fixed - the door handle stopped working and whenever I get out, I have to open the window and open the door from the outside. Hoping its an easy fix for the body guy. Upper body is on the agenda for the gym today. I think the rain has finally stopped, so I may get outside and do some brush mowing.

So much for swimming, my alarm went off and I rolled over to go back to sleep for another hour. Must find where I left my swim mojo.
Sigh....I thought I had a Dr appointment this morning.  Drove all the way up to Mechaniccsville in the rain to find out it's for TOMORROW.....Dr was tied up in an emergency at the hospital so I had to drive home and go back tomorrow.
It has been pouring on and off all day.  So far no word from Coach Tim about canceling the Coach's run tonight.  As of now I am planning on going--but if he cancels it I will do a treadmill interval run and then go to the gym for a swim since John has a late meeting again tonight.
Group run was fun. He had us going all over creation, over the river & through the woods doesn't begin to describe it.  I was glad to have my headlamp cause it got dark quickly--especially once we got back into the woods.  I tried to keep up with the kid cause he didn't have any headlamps or other lights but he w[...]

Crap. Tried to get out today to ride my bike, which I picked up last night, and realized I forgot my pump. Tires are too low to ride, so I'm going to have to wait until I get home this evening to get out and do a little ride around the block.

-Update-
Test rode the "new" bike. Pushed some sections very hard, braked hard, accelerated hard, turned hard. Going to ride tomorrow and do the same. The ENVEs were great, but the wind did catch them more than I expected.
