Went out this morning & had lunch with my mom. Sometimes nothing's better than being with mom. She's really starting to fail. I can't imagine how hard it will be without her!

Had a bit of a meltdown yesterday. Ob/gyn wanted to put me on antidepressants to help with hot flashes, then the cardiologist called and wanted me to go on cholesterol meds. I guess all in all it was a good thing because it has forced me to deal with my issues that I've been ignoring. I did some reading on the antidepressants and sent an email saying that I was going to pass. I'm not comfortable with the side effects and quite honestly, being on more drugs further messes with my head, which is exactly what I don't need right now. I sent the cardiologist an email asking her to give me a month to clean up my diet and increase my exercise. At that time, we'll retest and if the numbers are still high, I'll take the meds. Pretty Running - lean forward, roll off your big toes, keep hand above your waist, look about 6 feet in front of you with your eyes, drive your elbows back and never cross your midline with your hands.

Pull Drill - Focus will be on learning to 'catch' the water with your forearm and pull yourself through the water. If you feel your lats (the muscles under your arm pits that go down the side of your back) engage, then you are starting to get it. If your shoulders are tired, then you are still using too much shoulder and not enough lats.

Oh boy. The professional headshot. I look like I'm straining to go to the bathroom. And my hair is wild! I actually think I could have done with MORE makeup. I honestly take the best photos after an hour of professional makeup application and 3-4 drinks.

Well, the showing was pretty anti-climatic. At least we don't have to worry about stalling a full-price offer until I hear for sure on Kalispell. I did a side street drive by and it wasn't the "That's it!?!" truck from Sunday, It was a middle-age couple. The realtor can't discuss pricing, but was able to share other feedback. Apparently they arrived to the house first and when she got there had decided that they didn't even want to go inside. Huh? You'd have thought as gun-ho as they'd been to see it Sunday that they'd at least have done a drive by. What's weirder is that they specifically want an older home. She convinced them to at least go in while they were there and they were mostly "Ok", liked "the size of the bedrooms" on the inside, but the basement ceiling is low and since he's really tall that makes it a no-go as the washer/dryer are in the basement. Asked my boss today if she'd heard anything, nope. She threw out the thought that maybe they are making an offer to someone on one of the roles first, and they might be waiting to see if they accept it before placing me - knowing that I could do either. Like if they didn't accept, it would go to me, but they need to know that first before giving me the other role. That's a good theory, but still frustrating. After this week, I am in Atlanta next week (unrelated work training), then on my cruise for the next two weeks. I hope to GOODNESS that I at least hear before I leave the country.

That was crazy hard--only a couple things I had a really hard time with, mostly the pace of this workout...My back will definitely feel it through the day.  I used 15 pound weights on all the lat row variations.  5 pound weights on the plank shooter thing and the back extensions that went to mountain climbers.  And let me just say that 5 count Abs are NO JOKE.

I could NOT get up the energy to drive to the pool to swim. I hate leaving the beast in her crate during the day since she will be there a long time tonight. That is my excuse, but it is kind of a lame one. She would be fine.
Maybe tomorrow.......The plan has tomorrow as a rest day, so it would work out fine.

Feeling off. :-( I don't know what is wrong with me, but I am feeling very unsettled, down, and having anxiety. I think it is due to the upcoming changes at work, missing family, missing some good friends, and still an unsettled relationship with Mike. I need to just focus on getting my done and keep moving forward.
