*1-Leg Dead Lift - 2x12 reps each leg
*Body Weight Squats 2x12 reps
*Monster Walks (forward/backward/side-to side) 3x8 reps each, band/elastic strapped around the knees direction. Strap the band ABOVE your knees.
*Body Weight Pendulum Lunges 2x12 reps each leg.
*Russian twists with 5-10lb weights...3x30secs on choice rest
*Eccentric Calf Raises - 2x12 reps each leg.
*Standard plank (on knees). 3x45secs
*Myrtle Routine (Clamps and Lateral Leg raise)

Again this is really tough! And it shouldn't be this hard! My body is reacting very weird to this kind of training. Cold sweats, dizzy.... I consider myself a fit person but this is tough!! And I just simply cannot plank!

Taught tri class and I now done for the weekend. Have stuff to get done around the house today and B wants to start to put the fence in (Small one for Ted so he doesn't chase bikes anymore). I also need to finalize Jack's drivers ed class so he can get started. :).

6:57 AM: Oh boy. My knee is swollen and stiff. Huge. Not sore, though, so I suppose that's good. Just swollen, and sort of "hard". Under different circumstances (and on an entirely different appendage, on an entirely different person) swollen and stiff (( AND HUGE!! )) would be great news. On my knee... well, notsomuch. 
10:26 AM: Riding tonight. Knee and all.
3:12 PM: My enthusiasm for bike riding tonight is dwindling by the minute. Would probably do better if I went home, iced my knee and swallowed a handful of Advil before I ride tomorrow. Hmmm. It is gorgeous outside. I should ride bikes. I can't decide.

Nice out today. I'm going to go ride my bike! 
Figuring out my trip to Vermont in June. Flights to Albany from Denver are so freaking expensive - seems like a waste just for a couple of days, but I kind of feel like I should be there for this show. I've got a gallery that owes me a couple thousand dollars right now (finally sent me a check and then it bounced - grrr!), and Nate's got a few houses that are going to be a couple months behind schedule, so we're trying to be tight with money right now until we both get paid. Kind of makes it seem silly to blow a bunch of money going to an art show that I only have one painting in, but there's visibility involved so it's a marketing expense. Hmmmm.....

As soon as they call the all clear today I am changing into bike clothes and heading out for an hour  or so.....maybe more.
MrE was confused last night cause I have always warmed up with a run and he thought I was injured or something cause I was on a bike.  I laughed & said it was cause I had missed riding all week and just needed to let my legs go in circles.
OMG it is COLD out for late April!  I might have to wear long bike pants & shoe covers!

Heh...  This one just made me giggle, so no true Friday meme today. 
We're supposed to be done today at 3pm, so I've signed up for a hot yoga class at 4pm; done at 5:30; home to shower and grab the bag with all the riding bikes stuff and to the station to get the train for 7:40... totally doable, right??  I think so!
I also need to remember to pick up some cliff bars and various other stuff before the craziness begins.  And dinner.  I should also remember to have dinner.  
SOOOO excited for all those people that I know are in Boston right now, or heading to Boston and I get to online stalk them in the non-creepy way... Adrienne, Brad, Elaine's sister (I don't know her, but I know Elaine so I'm excited for her), Kristin, Jon, Alex, and anyone else that I can't think of right now.

It was raining this morning so I did not get a run in. I was waiting on my new running shoes to get in so I would have a spare, they came in this afternoon. Going to start breaking in the new shoes next week on the shorter runs, not really wanting to break a pair in on a 10.5 mile run.

Added some shoulder exercises and modified the workout a little. Trying to strike a balance between muscles for dryland swim training and strength training.
