Not enough sleep last night, but a wonderful awakening this morning.  Spending time in bed with someone just cuddling is good for me.  It is so good to be back together .  Interesting though, especially because she's already in the process of moving to Austin.  We talked about it, and it seems as though we're both simply willing to enjoy each other and see where the road goes.

Shoulder is sore after Chiro put it back in place and swimming last night. Hoping to bike/run tonight. Hoping Chris can push me on the run a bit and get some time in on the bike.

Comment yesterday - my calves are getting slimmer and a little muscular - can we move that action to my tummy/thighs.

We meet with K this evening after work.  I am too tired right now to do anything...
 
Air conditioner repair guy is here. YAY!! That's the good news, bad news is either the dust they are raising or the chemicals they are using are making me feel really sick.  I was hoping for a short lunchtime run but it will depend on whether or not the smell dissipates without my leaving breakfast in the commode in repeat fashion.
Guys finished up and found their battery dead on the truck, they had to borrow my jumper box and are sitting out there over 30 minutes later charging their truck.
Fairly warm, very humid.  BLECH.

Got the dog groomed while I was at the pool. I found that kicking on my side seems much more effective than trying to kick on my back. About time to start getting ready and there's quite a bit of packing to do before we set out for Niagara Falls.

So, I ran yesterday afternoon because I figured the Dirt Divas ride would get rained out. When I left my house in Evergreen, it was raining, so I figured I'd deliver kits to a couple of gals and have a drink. Got there and the sun was shining on Golden, and next thing I know I'm climbing up the 20% grade fire road to the top of the mountain. I was NOT expecting that after a run!! Ouch. My legs are worked today.
Bad news on the bike front. Not supposed to be here until the end of June. I'm honestly so pissed I don't know what to do. I could switch to a Pivot Mach 5.7, and have it in a week, but that's more of an all mountain/enduro bike than a XC bike. I would love the travel and it's a nice bike, but it's not a race bike, and I want all the advantage I can get on long climby CO race courses. I could switch to a 429, but they're also having issues stocking smalls in that model so no guarantees when I'd get it, and it has a bit less travel than I want. I could switch to another [...]

Oh where have I been - all over!  I spent the holiday weekend far from electronics in New Mexico.  It was a great trip although we didn't see too many snakes.  It was cold for snakes which makes me want to go back in July to see if I can turn up the heat loving nocturnal species.

Then I have been slammed at work and soccer tryouts after work.  Just crazy!  I ended my streak but it was intentional - I needed the rest.  I am not going to stop running and biking but I need to figure out a way to add some structure to it (maybe a training plan?).
I am flat out exhausted though.  I need to get better sleep at night but this week has been bad with stress.  Maybe tonight I can get in bed at 8pm and sleep until 5am.  I need it.

It is gonna be a long day training then driving home. Power outages and air conditioning going out kept me up most of the night. I turned the alarm off instead of doing a workout. Hopefully I'll get home before 9. Tomorrow is my day off though. Yay!
