Kids both had friends from school, not neighborhood friends over to play today so I had to go early to the grocery store for lunch and snack food. Kids here playing all day, ran on the treadmill while they were here. Planned on taking a quick trip to a local 2nd hand furniture store for a coffee table for the basement. Wound up buying an entire set - TV stand, coffee table, and end table which is fine except I just bought a TV stand yesterday. The owners were super nice and said we could bring the TV stand we bought yesterday back. That meant we took the first load which was coffee table and end table home, get it downstairs, take everything off TV stand I just put everything on last night, load it in the van and take it back. Get 2nd TV stand loaded, get stuck by a train, finally get back home and this new TV stand is solid and HEAVY. Get it downstairs and put things away by then it is 7:00 and time for dinner. Apparently we don't have to come into the office this week. So that allows more time to train during lunchtime! How exciting. Therefore, I will do a long swim at lunch and then a short bike after work. Or, maybe a long swim in the AM. Wouldn't that be novel? Getting up to do something other than go to the bathroom. haha. We'll see.
Long swim = 3200 + Meters. Looking for a workout now.
Then, I think next week will be a recovery week. With a flattish century on Sunday followed by the U2 concert. How will I stay awake for all of this? And why does U2 only tour in Ironman years?
2:13 PM: Ummm yeah. Nothing has happened today. Got home late from CPCU meeting and didn't sleep well. Now work is eating me alive. I can actually feel my brain. It may start leaking out of my ears.

Chiro is telling me the pain in my leg from yesterday is not a good thing. That I need to cancel the rest of the season and rest it for 8 months and then slowly start with walking again. Got an adjustment on back and both ankles and did ultrasound on my leg. Just not happy right now. Last thing I want to hear over lunch and then having to come back to work.

All the repair estimates should be coming in this afternoon or tomorrow (sewer line, plumbing, electric). Crossing my fingers. This is the worst part. Sewer alone could be $3-5K. Looking at the inspection report I'm so confused on two plumbing leaks identified... wouldn't there be water somewhere? It's a wonder I have lived in this house for 10 years with all of the crap that's so wrong a buyer has to fix it to be "livable" LOL
Locksmith scheduled for tonight (I tried to fix my sliding door lock and screwed the whole thing up).
Moving company on-site evaluation scheduled for Friday.
Junk haulers scheduled for next week.
Real estate agent in Atlanta contacted. Asked her to start seeing things the first week I arrive (June 5).

I bought all the materials yesterday ($150--oops) and got the shelves cut, just need to cut and screw everything together and then see if she wants to paint it or leave it as bare wood.

Made a doc appointment for Friday to discuss the thyroid medication. I am sure I will need to have blood work done next week to check my levels to determine if a dose adjust is needed. If my levels are showing that I am in normal range being on such a low dose, then I am going to question even being on the medication since I am having no relief of any of the symptoms. I wish I could have the blood work done prior to the doc appointment so I wouldn't have to see the doc, then have blood work, and then see the doc again. Waste of time and waste of co-pay.

Leg feels better, so I am pretty sure the discomfort yesterday was just due to gait/foot problems.   Foot is still sensitive.
Yesterday as soon as I took off my work shoes (basic comfort flats) and put on my gym shoes - instant relief of about 85% of symptoms.  Tonight I'm going to DSW to make a return and plan to buy some kind of black tennis shoe with support to wear at work.   The Skecher slipons have been great for general soft comfort, but I need something like a trainer.
