Swim 2 Swim 3 Run 1 (1:25) Run 2 (1:00) Bike 1 (45M) Bike 2 (1:50) Lift 1 Lift 2
OK, so this is how this will go:
Lift 1 and Run 2 today.
Swim 2 on Wed and lunch plans with my new friend @ work.
Lift 2 and Bike 1 on Thursday
Friday I have my test. If it goes well, I will want to try to knock out the long bike.
Swim 3 on Saturday
And that leaves the long run for Sunday. Meh. No rest day. I reserve the right to switch things around to afford myself a teeny tiny break. No plans this weekend so there's no reason why I should be disabled on Sunday.

Recovering from head cold...opted for short workout after work.

Seems like the persistent hip ache is either LTF or ITB injury.

I adjusted my Weight Watchers membership to include meetings. The closest one is in Butte (40 miles), but t least the 6pm Monday night time works really well. I think that setting aside time each week to really reflect, plan and celebrate with others is going to help my focus. I like the leader pretty well already. The group really tended to the older lady end of the spectrum. There was maybe one person younger than me and one other near my age. The leader is just a couple years older than me at least. 2017 is MY YEAR and January is half over so I'd best me getting to it.

3x15:
-quad hip extensions
-supine floor march
-plank (feet elevated), 45-60 sec
-Supermans
-single leg drops

Planks were hard. Only managed 45 sec each. I used my foam roller under my ankles to elevate my feet. That probably reduced stability, hence them feeling harder. They were!!

Foot really hurts this evening, even after wearing the boot, doing limited walking, icing, elevating, and wearing a plantar fasciitis brace to keep it square while sitting. I'm worried that I'm going to have to go to completely non-weight-bearing. I see the specialist next week. Meanwhile, I'm doing my best to hold down the couch. I keep telling myself, "The hike (when I hurt it) was really pretty" and "This will completely heal and will NOT become another chronic injury to have to work around, dammit!"

Gratitudes:
1. Today's 3-4" of snow should melt off in the next couple of days.
2. I have a sense of humor that helps me get through the crap.
3. I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow. Ya[...]

Snowed a few inches last night. Just drinking tea and knocking stuff off of my to-do list while the flakes come down outside. Owen had a friend spend the night and Aspen slept over at someone else's house, so it'll be a quiet day. Working on new gallery representation up in Whitefish, Montana, and tracking down commissions and sales info from other galleries. I'm happy to be branching out into galleries out of state, but dang - the one thing that sucks is the cost of getting work up there! Especially Whitefish, not the straight shot that Billings is from Denver...
On day 5 of clean eating. I've done pretty well so far with no processed food, no added sugar, etc. Made a healthy habits page in my bullet journal so I can keep track daily of my weight, how much water I manage, whether I hit my planned workout, and how well I do with food. There's something about writing it all down that's so much more pleasant to me than having it on the computer. Think I'm getting over the low en[...]

Nothing this morning. I took some pain medication last night and was still tired at 4:00 this morning. Slept in until 6:00. Plan on taking a long lunch today and getting in a trainer ride. So glad I went to urgent care. I am already starting to feel better.

Day#004

6:01p--I thought I would check in and mention that I have remained caffeine free today. It has been a day of headaches but luckily pain relievers have kept the headaches manageable. Emotionally I am feeling moments of calm clarity, but anytime I think about dealing with life or work I get depressed and want to go to sleep. Tomorrow I have a job interview and I have to drive back to Vernal. It will be difficult but I am determined to succeed. Caffeine has ruined my life and I won't let it continue to ruin my life.

Spent the afternoon purging my closet (again) - listed 27 items on eBay (2 or 3 more potentially after I wash them and see what I'm working with) and have a sack to send with my Mom to the thrift store she volunteers at. Makes me sick to my stomach to think about all the money I spent on clothes that in the description on eBay I wrote "ONLY WORN ONCE" - mostly the dresses but a lot of tops as well. One dress I bought online still hast he tags on it. Ridiculous. And as I'm listing it I'm thinking "this is actually cute, why haven't I worn it?" but I'm tired of thinking I will wear stuff someday - it's been in my closet for YEARS, time to go. Not expecting for many of the items to sell, but I kind of enjoy the eBay thing and if a few of them do sell, then great. If not, the will go to the thrift store and make someone really happy. When my Mom volunteers there, she's really good about picking out the higher end stuff, assembling a whole outfit, and showing it to a single mom in need sa[...]
