Well shoot, this morning I slid right into a curb in my neighborhood and hit it pretty hard. Enough that I broke the left steering rod and broke the entire steering mechanism up front IN TWO. Yeah the steering wheel was just a-spinnin' around - not good. Tow truck, ride to mechanic, Mom to the rescue, and now at work just learned it will be around $1,500. Insurance started the claim and my deductible is only $100 because of that damn vanishing deductible I've been paying into unknowingly. And HOW IRONIC that I just called them the other day to raise my deductible - they hadn't called me back yet to adjust my policy but feel like I really jinxed myself there.
Keeping this in perspective: I wasn't hurt, no one else was hurt, it was not on a busy street, I will have to pay nearly nothing, I am safe. Positive thoughts!

I wondered why my head nearly blew up. The change in temp (and pressure) went from 57 to 37 and from sunny to sleeting in 3 hours. My sinuses are not equipped for that much change.

One of those days. Plan was to go to the gym - run - then head to the pool and swim. Forgot swimsuit. Get on treadmill. Forgot water bottle. And music didn't download properly when I switched phones so had only one fast song. Hence sprints during the chorus!

FROM RACING WEIGHT:
Single Leg Squats > 10 per leg
Stick Crunch > 20
Push-Up > 20
Step-Up > 10 per leg
L-Over > 6 per side
Supine Gluteal Activation > 10 per side
Side Plank > 30 seconds per side
Inverted Shoulder Press > 12
Calf Raises > 10 per leg

Left work an hour early, crawled in bed, and didn't get out of bed until this morning. Feel better today, but am still stuffy and a little weak. The plan is to just run a very easy 5 miles and sweat.

I can't wait to be done with this marathon. I'm ready to start tri training again.

Started off with an easy pace, then gradually increased pace. All systems a go, although I'm still stuffy and a little weak.

I got my short run in this morning and have a ride on tap for this afternoon. What could be better?
My new mp3 player is wonky. The volume keeps dropping, no matter how loud I make it. I have to return it for something else if possible. Sansa Sport Clip is not quite ready for sports now, is it????

BP ranged from 135/85 down to 113/76 this morning. I took a lot of readings. Most were in the 120-126/80-86 range. This is the pre-hypertensive range.
My weight took another big drop today. Most of the change is due to using the Oak Ridge scales which seem to weigh lighter. Exercise and diet have been consistent. Yesterday was a travel day but it was late enough not to affect the morning poop.
Janice said that if I lose down to 155, I will have to bulk up my shoulders and chest so that I don't look like a shriveled old man. Body Beautiful for 63 year olds. I shall dust off the 25 lb dumbbells and pump it up. Ha.
Rain, freezing rain and snow are coming down right now. I think we may be on the warm end of the prediction range and not much will stick. The lake house is colder. I hope the trees don't get iced.

Last "Regularly Scheduled" Lift today, have to find a way to get 2Hours on Tread in at a time, or MAYBE 1.5Hours of incline Tread, and longer outside when I can.
Will toss in Lifts as I go, but gotta get off the grind and onto Aerobic Development.
