6:25am:  Friday!  And the Friday before a week on vacation!!  With as much as my co-workers have been annoying the hell outta me, it's good to be taking a break, for sure.
I'm pretty much ready to go.  I have to get my carry-on backpack packed, but that's just a matter of dumping in the electronics, my meds and snacks and I'm ready to go.  My parents are so kind as to wake up early and take me to the airport tomorrow, which is one less thing for me to worry about as well.
This weekend is the initial weigh-in, measurements and photos for PN, so I'll do the photos tonight and then measurements and stuff tomorrow morning -- having done that every Saturday for a year, I've got the procedure down to about 5 minutes.
Anyway - can't wait for the vacation.  I'm still worried about being able to keep up, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I know how to push through fatigue and that's what I'll do.  No complaining, no excuses -- just enjoyment o[...]

Well, there went my daily exercise streak.  Oh well - it was bound to happen sooner or later anyway.  A far more pressing priority came up yesterday morning - finding a new place to live.  Quickly.   (long story; clifs notes are that our landlord wants to move back into the house)  Wound up driving all over Northeast Columbia to drive by some houses I saw listed online.  The pickins of decent rental houses are slim right now, it seems.  Consequently, never made it to the gym and also never made it out on a walk (my plan B).    Such is life.  Then, as I expected, I didn't sleep altogether well - fell asleep reasonably quickly, but then was wide awake at 2:56am.  Mind racing and couldn't get comfortable - felt like everything on my body hurt!  Oy.  Finally dozed back off again sometime after 4 and woke up again just before the alarm went off at 5:15.  Still decided to swim as planned, as I knew it would help wor[...]

Another bike commute today! Nice and expedient!  I can get up to a decent clip on Laura's bike.  And leaving a little early meant the road was a little less busy.  I still haven't figured out the rail trail to college transition ... some riding on the sidewalk, some walking my bike.

Not snacking before bed is the most difficult of all those bad habits so far. But, after all that boo hooing yesterday, I am down another pound this morning. Now I probably just need to step away from the scale before I get obsessed and evaluate based on healthy choices & how I feel. The bottom line is I have not been making the greatest food choices with too many salty snacks and of course the darn cookie dough :).

Forced myself up for my run.  I have allergy shots today so I had to run before them cause you aren't supposed to work out for four hours after getting them.  It was a good run, light drizzle and just plain fun.....something I haven't felt about a run in a long time.
