Made a doc appointment for Friday to discuss the thyroid medication. I am sure I will need to have blood work done next week to check my levels to determine if a dose adjust is needed. If my levels are showing that I am in normal range being on such a low dose, then I am going to question even being on the medication since I am having no relief of any of the symptoms. I wish I could have the blood work done prior to the doc appointment so I wouldn't have to see the doc, then have blood work, and then see the doc again. Waste of time and waste of co-pay.

Got one report of three done, need to get a bike ride in and Brynn has me under the gun to get Cassius's closet system installed. I bought all the materials yesterday ($150--oops) and got the shelves cut, just need to cut and screw everything together and then see if she wants to paint it or leave it as bare wood.

Just went to the doc to get a new inhaler. I feel like I'm over the cold I had last week, but still have allergies, and he was completely horrified at my nose and throat. I thought I was feeling pretty decent, but apparently not! I am to get the Neti Pot out and rinse once a day, and start flonase. Also got a scrip for a new inhaler. This doc races mountain bikes and is soooo helpful about stuff - so glad I found him last year when I busted the rib.
Half Growler is in FOUR DAYS!!! Eek!! Can't believe this is the week already! 
I feel like I'm as prepared as I'm going to be. I have put in consistent hours and done different intervals than I've ever done. I've done consistent long rides through the spring. I did a 4.5 hour, 4,000 ft ride last weekend, which is close to the race time for me. I have my nutrition strategy down solid. Fairly uneventful prep. Took it easy last night reading and watching tv while staying close to the bathroom. Actually got more sleep than I expected. I kept thinking of David Goggins phrase - "Embrace the suck" It's amazing how powerful your mind can be. Attitude really is everything!

Leg feels better, so I am pretty sure the discomfort yesterday was just due to gait/foot problems.   Foot is still sensitive.
Yesterday as soon as I took off my work shoes (basic comfort flats) and put on my gym shoes - instant relief of about 85% of symptoms.  Tonight I'm going to DSW to make a return and plan to buy some kind of black tennis shoe with support to wear at work.   The Skecher slipons have been great for general soft comfort, but I need something like a trainer.

Modified low impact to appease the lungs.  It's a HIIT style workout. roughy 1 -2 minutes cardio followed by light weight high reps different muscle groups.  Good workout.  Wish my lungs were more cooperative.
Applications have been filled out to all schools, transcripts requested.  Whoever gives me the best option on my transfer credits will see my money.
Tomorrow starts my 6 weeks +/- of commuting to train people.  I will be scarce in these parts.
