Inhaled Advil like it was going out of style yesterday, and my arm is about 85% better today. No more sharp pain when I lift it, just a touch achy now. Thank goodness. That was going to seriously be bad if it didn't heal quickly - it's my painting arm, and I *have* to be able to lift it to paint! 
Off to Fairplay to get more frames. I'm bleeding money stocking up on frames and panels right now, which I hate this time of year since I have no income coming in from my art. Hope things pick up soon. I was selling like crazy in December and January, but it's mud season now. 
Supposed to be crap weather all week and snow this weekend. Sad panda.

8:30am: You'll have to forgive me, I'm currently obsessing about retiring. Last night I read a piece by Tim Ferriss where he uses a set of questions to get at why it is that you don't want to make a change -- he calls it "fear-setting" and it involves very specifically envisioning the absolute nightmare-ish worst that could happen if you made a decision.
I've been saying I need another 5ish years to accumulate enough wealth to be able to retire. But, what if I instead said that the only thing keeping me from retiring RIGHT NOW is developing some sort of side hustle that brings in a little money on the side -- it doesn't need to be much, just something to supplement what I've already saved, especially since I don't want to touch my 401k until it's legal for me to do so.
And really, while I've asked for more vacation time and been turned down, I wonder if I had the leverage of "Hey - I'm going to retire in a few months" if that might make some sort of negotiation happen. Ideally I [...]

First Monday night ride with the Monday Night Misfits! I haven't ridden with them since 2011. Now that I'm working from home on Mondays and Tuesdays I have the flexibility to get up to CL on Monday nights... and since I'll be getting home lateish, and I am not required to get up really early on Tuesday AM to catch a train, this could work! I think I'm going to swim on Tuesdays, and maybe also throw down a shorter walk.
Blister feels better. Hurt a little yesterday on the bike, but it's generally OK. Rest Friday Mexico Freebie day. Long Walk (In Mexico) Shorter Bike Shorter Walk Swim Swim (Mexico?) Short Walk
