Ugh, my legs feel wrecked this morning! I think the combination of intervals on Tuesday followed by a pretty technical climb last night did them in. I think I'll make today a gym day (since yesterday was supposed to be lifting anyhow) and take it easy on my legs.
Gorgeous, but tough ride last night. 
Caution - RANT ahead - skip to the bottom if you'd rather just see pretty pictures!! => Still waiting to hear back from the bike shop, but word from Nancy via Pivot is that my bike did NOT get shipped out and now is going to be a few more weeks. I am livid. I have been very patient and nice, but at this point I feel like Pivot is just jerking me around. Up until now, no one has had size smalls available, so I've just been accepting that it's taking a while. But now, other people who ordered them after me are getting theirs, and they are available online, so hearing that I have to wait however much longer is making me mad. Not going to walk on the treadmill @ lunchtime. I need an hour to myself to sit down, relax, eat some good food and stop worrying about cramming my workouts in. I am just done for today. Also thinking that maybe Monday isn't a great idea for a recovery day. I could REALLY use it later in the week. Whatever. I'm done. DONE thinking about this. 
THE REARRANGED SCHEDULE:
Thursday --Swim AM/Walk Lunch (as much as possible at lunchtime)/City PM ("Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" taping
Friday -- Bike PM
Saturday -- LONG BIKE 5+ hours up in CL. 
Sunday -- LONG WALK 10 miles (hopefully my damn shoes show up!)

No biking in to work today. We're doing a team social after work so decided to take the subway today. Pretty busy but flowing well. 
Felicity is awesome. She just a little chatterbox lately - with ants in her pants. hahahaha. We went to India Ale House last night (again, we love that place) and was so funny when I let Darren have a sip of my beer she looked very seriously at Darren and sadi, "No, Daddy, that's mommy's" - she may have even had her finger pointed too. 
They must be learning about this at daycare but the concept of sharing still alludes her. 
She also ate the entire kid's sized order of macaroni and cheese. And that was after raiding all the ripe cherry tomatoes from the garden and a gross, slightly dried cut up one from the counter (i had used the day before and not finished), and a freezie.  Additionally, the board at daycare said she had 3 servings each of morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack!  Geez, if she eats like this at 2 what [...]

I spent a good bit of time rolling out my shoulders last night, they feel a lot better--but I can't get the roller right on my neck......Hoping Drill Instructor can get a tennis ball of something to work the knots out of it.
Planning a date with Shawn T and maybe a treadmill run today to de-stress cause today at work will be another f*** without a kiss.

No run this morning, simply because I didn't want to. I'm not beating myself up over this malaise that I've been in for a week+.  I know it will pass soon.  And I think tonight may help it break, since I have my first ever swim lesson.  I hoping that I can see some opportunities once Amy lays out a few things.  Having new goals often helps with that sort of thing.
I need to talk to the LBS, I've been back and forth on lights and trainers and rollers and such, but I think the next purchase needs to be a saddle, because I switched the block of discomfort that came on the Jamis with the ISM on my road bike. Now my road bike sux. So I am going to test run some of these if possible:
