Aaaah, a rest day. I'm not nearly as tired as I was last week, but the rest is still quite welcome.
I got my coach's analysis of my running form. Having been a "good" runner for some time, I was surprised that my form is not very efficient. About the only good thing I have going is a mid-foot strike. But, there are some very workable drills I can use to improve my form. With that, hopefully comes more efficiency and speed. Maybe my old PRs that I thought were untouchable are ripe for breaking.

I didn't do a morning workout today. Still having a lot of anxiety and feeling very stressed and overwhelmed. More job training this week. There is just so much to learn and so many new systems and processes. Although I have worked remote in the past it has always been 3 of the days home and 2 days in the office (hospital in Ohio) and then 3 days on Navy base and 2 days at home (department of defense). Some time with people gave me some in person training and a person to see face to face with questions. All my training is online. I am having a rough time picking up some things. I did several hours of training both on Saturday and Sunday. My manager said she will schedule a call with me for later this week.
Mike's parents are going home to NJ tomorrow. Mike will be off work and home (where I am now working) for the next two weeks. Maybe it would have been netter if I delayed my start to the new job until all of this is over. Oh well - just need to push on!

holy cow. 4 hours of shopping and trying things on. I really don't like to shop, but this place is a once a year deal! Got lots of stuff...for my sisters in law, me, my daughter, the boy's lady and a few polos for the boy for work. Love how much I save over retail there! You really have to be careful as many things are damaged/torn/holes etc, but you can save a ton! They have gap, athleta, banana republic, piper lime. Wish I had the girl with me so she could score some things. She is too picky/tactile/tall and lean for me to buy for her.

Finished the drive through construction state aka Ohio and made it home for dinner. The bird was screaming and on my head in a second. Dave had a nice plain dinner for me as I have my first colonoscopy wednesday. I really just wanted a giant salad, but no fiber. UGH! It is so good to be home! I love adventuring, but Dorothy had it right...there's no place like home!

Darren is going to Vegas tomorrow for work so it's back to single parenting until Friday night. not that long but it will be busy!
