Back to photos in the next couple of days. I have Mom's house on tap after work for yardwork. I hope the rain is a non-factor. I finished the bike repairs for a co-worker. And I have one more church meeting to go for the study group. It has been eye opening in many ways, not all of them in the way I had hoped.

7:20am: Well, last night I packed and I had a very weird, disquieting experience -- I have room left over. I've packed almost every piece of clothing I own (only slightly hyperbolic). What am I missing??  After 46 years of packing suitcases did I suddenly become a Suitcase Packing Guru? Luckily, I have 2 days to stew on this. I know I must be forgetting something bulky, lol.
Errands to run and last minute things to do, but frankly? I haven't been this organized for a trip in a long time. I feel so less stressed than usual. Again - what am I missing?!?
Friends from Springfield will be driving up tomorrow night and then we have a 7am flight Friday morning. CAN'T WAIT.

Took a break because my back was bothering me quite a bit.  Seems better now, but may not know for sure until after a few more runs.  No more over the next week anyway since I will be headed out West.  Plenty of hiking instead.

My grandma is still in a rehab program. I talked with my mom and grandma yesterday. Grandma sounds good, but my mom said she is still weak and easily confused. They are trying to build up her strength so she can go back her her independent living apartment at the senior center. She really does not want to go to assist living. She still has more time in rehab, until mid next week, to get stronger. My family is not sure if it will be possible for her to live alone again, but everyone is staying positive and continuing to encouraging my grandma to work hard in rehab.

Kind of annoyed by Kind bars. I thought they were natural with dark chocolate and nuts and then my eye catches the word 'flavoured' on the label and sure enough it's full of crap. I didn't look first. Is there nothing real anymore? I read even WholeFoods is just a big marketing scam.
