I am sore from the strength workout yesterday. Not terribly but enough that I notice. Legs are on the schedule for today.
My friends DIL is coming over to go through toys and books my kids don't play with anymore and see if she wants anything for her little boy. That means I have to drag all of this crap out the attic and basement. I think the kids want to go to the park later.
I am having a bit of a bladder frequency issue - feeling like I need to go all the time. No pain or anything else, just feeling like I need to go. .Kind of uncomfortable and annoying - trying natural remedies since there are no other symptoms. If it gets worse I'll call the clinic.
It did get worse, I called the clinic, took a sample and yep I'm on an antibiotic.

Leg day, lots of squats with weights. These workouts are not the HIITS stuff I have been doing. It's slow counts for longer time under tension and 3 rounds of each exercise.
My knees were achy again today so this limi[...]

Rest day from ChaLEAN extreme.  Wasn't feeling like the elliptical today so I pushed play on CDJ which turned out to be MMA shred 2.0.  I love me some Core de Force workouts.
Sigh....doing the orientation work for school--needed to get word documents downloaded to my computer and then had trouble accessing the correct links to do the tutorials (I was trying to use them from a pdf and that was not working). This is gonna be a LOT of work!

7:48am: Back at the office, back to the routine.
My boss brought donuts to celebrate my exam victory. You know what? He gets what it takes to be a great manager.
I think Belle might be doing better? I put a question mark after that because I'm not sure if I'm seeing what I want to see or seeing what is actually there. She's still a little wobbly, but seems more like her old self. Perhaps she's just adjusting to having the world spin?
Nothing much after work. A walk, for sure (my streak of at least a mile a day is up to 62 days!). And early to bed. Haven't gotten a lot of sleep the past few nights and am really feeling it this morning (though I'm currently riding a sugar high, just waiting for the inevitable crash).

Left hammie sore when I got up, but felt significantly better after workout. I think I have to be very mindful of the position of the met pad in left shoe.

Painting today. Supposed to ride with some gals from my old bike team tonight, but weather isn't looking promising - 70% chance of rain at 5:30... Working on a commission for one of my mom's friends. I gave her a super big discount, but it'll pay for a used cross bike for me, so worth it ;) Think I found one here in town to go check out. The gal is a bit of a flake so who knows when I'll connect with her to look at it, but crossing fingers.

I was talking to my trainer this morning about the break I'll have between the time my EIM program ends and I can start training at the college gym again. I'll have three weeks where I'll need to continue on my own and that worries me. So glad I mentioned it because he said, no problem, I'll just extend you in the system until September. So just like that, I've got another 3 weeks added to my program and gym membership! How cool is that?

2x - 12 reps
Box step ups
Lateral box step ups

Supersets
Kinesis - reverse fly on ball (2)
Kinesis - Shoulder extension (2)
Scaption - (midway between forward & side) raises - 3 lb db
Pallof press (3)

Leg extensions 10/45# 12/40#

Close grip chest press - 30#
Low row - 40#-40#

Squat to chair - ease down all of the way-tap butt on chair-then rise
Wall pushup with shoulder flex
Scapular wall slide

Slept through the night last night and the night before. I heard Chris get up this morning but I couldn't keep my eyes open to get up and head to the gym. Raining outside. Will try at lunch or after work.

By saying the later yesterday I meant scheduling the surgery and doing the pain management while waiting for the date.

Had to get up early to do my work health screening ($150 from insurance for having lipid panel, BP, height/weight measured). Guess eating all that salad for the last week has paid off!
Total Cholesterol;125
HDL: 51 (can't really do much more to get that up higher)
LDL: N/A (didn't know that was a thing, but it can't be calculated when triglycerides are so low!
Triglycerides: <45 (pretty cool!)

Had to fast so went to work w my precooked oatmeal and blueberries, had breakfast then started seeing patients! Band practice after work!

So here's a few updates.  My weight is up, but I have an open window of improvement time in front of me. The only bad day should be BIL's birthday, and (obviously), I have planned for that. PF has been mostly mitigated, unfortunately by a lack of use. So a trip to the podiatrist and an x-ray later and we have found a heel spur and yes PF. So, I got a cortisone shot. And for the record, that sucker HURT! Still a bit sore, but I figured it would be that way. Tonight is SIP and SUP. Stand Up Paddleboards across the water to a bar for drinks. What could possibly go wrong! I think it'll be a lot of fun. I rode the MTB yesterday, a bit longer and harder than I had recently. I was toasted by the end, in the best way possible. I did a double loop at Hillsborough. Rode the Six Flags extension, without crashing. As a matter of fact, I think I did all of the extensions at least once and only crashed once. And that crash was more tip over then crash. I am going back again soon to rea[...]
