I slept poorly--up at 1 am. Not good.

However, I made the most of it--did laundry and watched a little boob tube before running before work. Today's work out was 6 easy and I felt tight at the beginning. You can tell it was from PlYo was a driver.

Today's run was along the trail to lime ridge and I did a couple of hills then headed back. Good stuff

Heading up to Vail for the next two days for a family hut trip with my art friends. We've done these before sans kids - it'll be interesting to see how it goes with all the kids along. I think it should be fun. I'm obviously going to be painting, but I'm taking my bike along too - hoping to revive my legs enough to get in some riding. Looks beautiful up by the hut, I'm excited.
Can't believe I bonked so hard on my ride yesterday! Better yesterday that this weekend though - I've got the Firecracker 50 on Monday (25 miles and 4,000 ft of climbing!). 
Anyhow, gotta run. Haven't even packed for our trip yet!

Another night of insomnia.  Awake from approximately 2:15am and just waiting for Tony's alarm to go off... and then NO energy to get up & do my wee brick.  I *might* do it tonight.  Maybe.  I. Am. Exhausted. 
There's been a bit of stress over this house thing with Tony not having a W2 yet as he's only been freelancing for a year or so (which means any mortgage would be solely under my name) and trying to decide about selling our place to live on the super cheap for a while to save some dough, etc - but we're still deciding what our best plan is & I'm the type of person who would rather KNOW what we're planning on and then we can work on it, rather than sitting on our duffs waiting for a plan to come together. 
The big bit of stress for last night came in the form of an email from my mom saying that in early June my dad had severe pain on one side & was heaving violently for 3+ hours, but refused to go to the hospital and for the next 3 da[...]

Endurance swim workout . . . kicked my butt! Main set consisted of a tempo ladder, which was okay. On the longer intervals, my first 100 tended to be a bit faster than the rest, but all came within goal pace. After the ladder, coach had me do a sprint kick set. Intervals of 25 on 45". Yeah, I made probably 4 of the 10 within the total time. Ouch.
Tomorrow is my first road ride on the TT bike since my accident. Both a bit excited and nervous!

Finished my painting, ordered a ton of supplies for my upcoming show in the Tetons, got my fancy frame order finalized. Heading out for a ride, then I need to hit the art supply store and the grocery store, and spend the evening packing for the hut trip and picking up for the cleaners. Looking forward to the hut trip! Looks like it's a great spot and we have a few families going who will be fun to hang out with.

I felt like I had forgotten something, since I was in and out about 5 minutes faster. Anyway, as usual the ankle/foot routine is challenging from a balance perspective. The planks are maybe the tiniest bit easier, except for the back plank....which is crazy hard for me still. One more day of this routine and then next week I move up to the next level!

Felt really weird last night after work. I got in the car and switched to my polarized Rx sunglasses and right away felt queasy.  I thought maybe it was the glasses and it subsided well enough that even thought I didn't feel 100%, I was ok and preferred the sunglasses enough to leave them on.  Then I went to Sam's Club and felt weird to the point of sweatiness/dizziness as I was leaving the store.  Once I got outside, I felt a ton better and went home.  That, plus the hubbub around our street being repaved (so I had to park around the corner, talking with neighbors, etc.), my run never happened.  The really dumb thing is that I would have been ok with 2 miles!

A co-worker and I were going to run by the lake this morning, but she changed her mind. She decided to just do a short workout in the gym so we could have a little extra time to prep for our presentation today. I decided to not go out by myself. I am horrible with directions and didn't want to be stressed about finding my way back to the hotel alone or being late. I have been to Chicago before, so it was okay. A full day of meetings and training. Work lunch and dinners.

Planned to get up early so I could swim AND run before a doc appointment but just could not get up. It was COLD and WINDY all day, the doc took a lot longer than expected and well...i just didn't do the swim. Which I need to do. I don't know what my deal is with swimming on tuesdays!

My girl got really sad last night. I am so frustrated for her. I just want her to be not depressed and have some energy. This is insidious. I am so leary of her going down the rabbit hole if she moves out and I don't see her daily. I hate it.
