Another early morning in the pool. I found a three month swim workout here on BT that I started using yesterday that I really like. Since I'm swimming 4 days a week, I can use the 4th workout for my coaches harder effort swim. Form was kind of all over the place today. I was supposed to do a main set ladder of 25-50-75-75-50-25, but I couldn't eek out that 2nd 75, so I finished out with 50s. At some point I need to stop obsessing over the swim and start hitting the pavement. I haven't ran/walked/or hiked at all this week. I decided not to do the Winter Run. New management this year and too many things just make me want to sit it out. (including my lack of training) ;)

Core workout on tap tonight and tomorrow, it's back to the real gym for chest & arms & spin class. Food was much better yesterday. My system is a little off this week and raw/high fiberous foods aren't sitting that well, which makes it even more tempting to eat crap. Yesterday, turkey meatloaves and protein [...]

I am taking tomorrow off work. I'm using the (valid) justification that I have two service people coming to the house - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - but in reality I am frazzled and need a personal health day. 
Spin class tonight. No spin class. I didn't leave work in time as I was making an effort to chat with my employee. Just a casual chat but one of my 2016 goals as a leader is to be more extroverted so, there you have it. Picked up some wine on the way home and called it a night.
Holy moly I received a shipment from our headquarters in Atlanta today... I had asked our parent company's health & wellness person if they had any bike jerseys for my Tour de Cure team. I told them I was shooting for 5 folks on the team and estimated sizes for 3 of us, thinking they would send 5 or 6 jerseys. Not having a good week, cold has settled nicely in my chest so it now feels like I have an elephant sitting on me.  Maybe with some time upright today it will improve enough for a run later.  I need to.

I have slipped into an awful funk. My caffeine habit is worse than ever. I am binge eating secretly and I am pretty sure my weight is going to jump back over 260. For some reason, once I drop below 260, I cannot stay there. It is impossible for me. I have a mental road block of some kind.

Today I started off with an energy drink and two hostess products. The positive is that I walked to work. I am not going to fail anymore. If I gain weight, then I will lose it again.

I am stronger than this.
