Had a great birthday, starting with going to the live taping of College GameDay in town! Then an absolutely electric game that my team won. After that we had dinner with my family and gluten free cake! I was so exhausted and in bed by 9 pm :)

Juice Fast Day 5: Wt 213 (Down 11 lbs)

Leg workout at the gym today. Trainer was trying to kill me. :-) Felt a little light headed during part of the workout. Did not drink any juice immediately prior to the workout. The rest of the day I felt great.

Anxiety killed my productivity this week. HUGE self defense presentation for the local running club, Joanna was in town and cleaning up after the furnace installation.  Breathing better, less congestion, skin looks better.  Amazing what that old furnace was doing to us.  Eating better, mostly fruit and veggies added.  I don't usually eat pasta but have potatoes and bread in my regular diet.  Not many sweets. Added dark chocolate. I just don't like to eat right now.  I am getting enough calories in by the end of the day just not enough carb calories.
Kept track of food this week.  Minimal carbs during the day, most of them at night but no where near the 550g target. I just crave protein and fat instead, don't know why.  So I tried to eat more carbs early in the day. Not easy.  I usually don't eat until around 2pm. Taking food to work now.  Love hot and spicy food so I'm trying to make some meals ahead of time that will interest [...]

I ran the majority of the 8 miles. On the last mile I walked a bit but it was less than a minute and then I jogged. I have done this run before and always needed to walk starting at mile four. I took a GU in at 20 minutes in and another at 40 minutes in. Could have used one more at 70 or so.

Prior I ate a spinach and mushroom omelet. After I had a banana, milk, water and that may have been it. I fell asleep after the run, hard and for bout 20 minutes. Today I am sore and tired. My get hurt bad and I have not done anything.
