Nothing this morning. I was not really sleepy, but my body felt tired. My tailbone is still not 100% healed and I just didn't want to get on the bike this morning.

My parents arrived yesterday late afternoon! It was so good to see them!!!! I am working today, but they are going to come over and do laundry (they have been on the road for 2 weeks) and just hang out. Not sure if I will get in any workouts today. Starting work early and ending early to have more time with my parents this afternoon.

I decided to try and get up earlier to see how early morning training might go. I got up at 4:50, a half hour earlier than normal. I noticed that my body was not prepared to get up yet, but it did get up and going pretty quickly. My mind was a bit distracted during prayer/scripture.
The ride was supposed to be very easy, so there was no pressure. Everything went well, and aside from a distracted prayer, the rest of my morning routine went smoothly. Will try this again tomorrow and, if it goes well, I will very likely make it the norm for the summer.

12:27 PM: While the vibe at work here is still tragically negative, I will say that since I've changed teams I personally am no longer suffering from an ulcer, eye twitches, acne, or uncontrollable stress sweating. My prior manager had a vendetta for some unknown reason, and she extracted her pound of flesh from me. Things backfired for her, though, because she didn't receive a job offer in the updated work structure so she's without a job as of September. I guess it really doesn't pay to be a jerk.

Kitchen sink was done today and it's not what we had talked about; think we had a mis communication. He wants me to look again in the morning when it's drier but it won't be solid espresso color, it's speckled and just darker than the counters. I think it will be nice though, I'll post a pic when it's all done.
