Positives for the day:
The science lesson for today was making egg salad.  That included peeling eggs, cutting them, adding mayo, mustard and relish.  They enjoyed cutting and mixing and tasting the salad BUT REALLY LIKED THE HARD BOILED EGGS!!!
I got up in time to get Trevor to work at 6 am without him having to come in and remind me
I am healthy 
My co-workers make me laugh EVERY DAY

Remembered to ice my knee last night, but knee pretty sore today.  Forgot aspercream last night.
 It appears that walking around all day and sitting on airplanes may not be good for the recovery.  Oh well, it was sure good yesterday, and the timing was good too.

Thursday brick. indoors.  had serious thoughts of bundling up and riding outside, but i just couldn't make that leap.  legs are tired, though they worked pretty hard on the bike.  Second half of the bike was all over 130 hr.  just took about 15 minutes to get it up to 120.  Run was fine.  legs felt fine. rest of the body was wiped.
Will try to get yesterday's swim in sometime today.  Friends called to meet after work yesterday, so that happened instead of the swim.
swim is done. not quite the speed of Tuesday's but a good swim.  probably could have a been a bit stronger on the 100's.

Nothing today. I mean, I totally have to stretch and roll out, but no running. I have a 5 mile run scheduled tomorrow, but I think I'm gonna skip it and let my knee chill out a bit. I'll run 3 or 4 on Saturday, hopefully in Boston. 
Did laundry this morning. Gave the keys to the catsitter. The weather looks potentially amazing for Monday, though a smidge warm. Don't obsess. Don't obsess. Don't obsess.
You will not miss me on the course. I intend to be quite colorful.

since this year is pretty much full - plus i want to sell my house and move and i do wonder what if i sell it and when in the world would i have time to move!!! ha
I was looking at some runs for next year with scenery that would even compare to what I got to see at zion and found the antelope island run in march.....nothing close to zion but i love the buffalo so that would be cool cause they are all over the course. Think I will do it as the 50 miler though and get Heather to come do it as her first 50 miler also.,,, only 5 hours from Amber so she will come play too!! Then was looking at javelina for a fall 100 and amber suggested the Teton/yellowstone 100 and that looks amazing beautiful!! Its end of sept this year so prolly the same period next year....says road race so if i see its gravel rather then concrete that the one and will get to do with amber also!! Dont think my knee could handle 100 miles of ALL concrete so will read some reports etc.

So the alarm went off and I was kind of tired and thought hey I can drive today and leave early and come home and go for a nice ride on my road bike. So I said if it is 30 or above you have to ride. Any colder and you can drive. I got up and checked the weather and it was 28 so I geared up and drove anyways! Changed out from the Nature Boy to the Jabberwocky SS Mtn Bike and had a blast riding - a bit slower but way more fun!!!!

Miami might be off - the client is being a jerk - oh well my base tanning will continue anyways!

So a little side story - something behind the scenes might be happening and a bike/ski shop purchase is being looked into - more info if it gets more serious!

Saw neurologist today about my back. Getting an MRI next Tuesday and Dr. will diagnose and prescribe treatment next Weds. Options include steroid injections into nerve, surgery, and or modification of lifestyle. No running and continue pt exercises until then.

Busy day and I'm feeling very unsettled. Too much unnecessary drama that I can avoid. Yesterday didn't work out like I planned and I never got to yoga. A series of events that were annoying and left me frustrated (dropped my bag of groceries from WF and things shattered and splattered, then took K's car key and had to leave the yoga studio before class even started, then stuck in traffic so I couldn't make it back in time...then traffic on the way home, then people being a-holes). Blah. Blah. Ommmmm. I hope I can get to yoga today. Need to get off the interwebs and get things done if I want to have a chance. Also, I *will* write a blog entry. I need that journaling outlet, even if it is mostly about workouts.
