My legs (calves/quads the whole deal) were RIDICULOUSLY sore after WALKING at the MUSEUM and ZOO on Sunday and Monday. My knee, however, feels alright. I have been taking this stuff Chris discovered by accident... RECOVER AI Inflammatory Support.

This is what it looks like... and this is what it is. I have also been taking Fish Oil and I can tell the difference almost immediately in my knee. I am not one for vitamins, voodoo, and/or unproven herbs and crap, but I have to say that I believe this works. So... we'll see.
Also, I have finagled my HMO so that I can see that ortho that helped my friend, and I can see him through the HMO. Turns out RUSH is not affiliated with my HMO, but this particular doctor belongs to some other group that *IS* affiliated with my HMO.... all I have to do is change "medical groups". So I changed medical groups, and will be making an appt at my (new) PCP to get a referral to this ORTHO. We'll see.
All this became possible because a girl at [...]

Nothing special this evening. Deep water running to help with whatever's going on with my right knee. Think I may have strained a muscle or tendon in the upper part of my calf. I thought it was ITBS but that should be lower outside quad instead. Will just take things easy this week. Not helping my mental state though.

Tomorrow nothing as I have an event to attend in Baltimore. Really not sure about rest of week considering my knee. Maybe swim and weights on Friday. Will see how things are going after that. Feeling fairly low about most of this :(

Didn't work out. Watched World Series instead.
The Royals went 0-4 on days I didn't work out or worked out before the game. 3-0 when I worked out during the game. Is this my fault?

Needed to take a day off to regerate myself. I'm getting better at recognizing when I need to back off rather than continually going full speed ahead. Core on the agenda this morning, then I'm meeting a friend for lunch and cleaning the motorhome to get it ready to put away for the winter.

Before I did my core work this morning, I watched this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCbf2wqE4Gw
It made it so much clearer on how I should posiiton myself during exercises. I've heard of this before, but for some reason, the way this guy explained and demonstrated it clicked with me.

Core - I actually think I'm going to feel this one tomorrow! :)
60" Plank
2x25 knee up crunch holding medicine ball in feet
2x25hip lifts
2x25 heel touches (to keep moving but catch my breath)
2x15 fitball transfers
2x25 twisting medicine ball
2x15 supermans
back stretch over fit ball

Commitment means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do, long after the mood you said it in has left you.
Late day today, which gives me time to finally get out in the garage and work on the bike. Then signing up for the Turkey Trot, then meet TW for lunch before heading in to the office. Hopeful that the programming I left in the first production environment was successful last night and ready to push it out to the other 3.
